even with the fact that he doesn't upload his matches- therefore we only see his losses I am still a little dubious of his decision to make yun his main. Daigo at his best is a reaction monster. His reflexes are insane, he keeps his cool no matter his life bar and he is great at reading and predicting his opponent. I would put him as a slightly more defensive player. yun and yang are such high pressure characters that i'm not really sure they play to his natural strengths.
@Mearonm I'm not basing it on one video. Actually I'm not even basing it on any of the recent video's.I'm just thinking about daigo's play style with ryu and guile who he is downright godlike with; then I am imagining how well that style of play translates to a chracter like yun. A simple example is jumping. With guile and ryu he stays grounded pretty much all the time except in safe jump set ups. Yun requires you to be in the air more. I just don't think he shines as a risk taker.
nah, I like daigo's yun way better than his ryu. Yun is a way more complete character than sf4 ryu. A player like daigo really shines with a complete character. It really shows the gap between him and every other yun player. You have to understand yun/spacing/footies or you won't notice. So I'm not surprise the typically sf4 player doesn't notice. I honestly learn something new about yun every time I watch daigo play. It's kinda amazing.
@Hw597 I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you didn't see Daigo's Yun in NC9 against Filipino Champ and Wolfkrone.. I do agree that I liked his Ryu more. :D
@ikkyusan SMAOI2010 has a vid of him winning...if it matters at all he was playing this adon who i personally think is hot garbage but sometimes really good..but anyway, damn dis man keep his pp high as fuck he must be getting alot of perfects or something.
