I picked up a Hoof Boss last year. Best tool ever. I'm not saying this tool is waterproof but my goat Clark put the whole bag in a full 5 gallon bucket of water. Yes it fit in the bucket perfectly. It was completely submerged in water🤨. I pull it out to discover the bag is not waterproof. I dried it by hanging it up next to my woodstove. To my surprise it still worked. Yes i love my hoof boss and it is worth the money !!!!!!
AMAZING! This is what I have been wishing for, for many years! I have saddle horses, draft and draft cross horses. I would like to know if you have any fairriers who use this device in Minnesota. Do you have any classes planned for the future? I would consider coming to you! I used a regular floor sander on a friends goats and it works great, but it seems to get very hot very quickly. I would assume, this could also happen with your tool. The trick is to move it constantly but the hoof still became hot. I found it is especially important to use a face mask and eye protection! The dust is really fine and nasty. I wondered about hot days and the fact that it could spread fungus spores around. I disinfected my face and body with an anti fungal soap and washed all my clothes in hot water with a few drops of bleach. This could be a problem when the weather is hot and the humidity is high because your skin pores are vulnerable.I knew a horse shoer who told me he once got a very nasty fungal infection from trimming hooves. Anyway, I am really interested in this remarkable device! Thank you for inventing it!
