KPP Back up dancers are the best I’ve ever seen! There’s so many steps in her live shows it’s amazing that it can all be memorized. I’m not saying American back up dancers aren’t good but But KPP Live shows are definitely more intricate than the American Back up dancer that I have seen! You can see the unbelievable amount of work and intelligence that it goes into KPP’s shows!

The meaning behind this scene shows how skilled the "assasin" is in being a sushi chef. Blowfish is arguably one of the most difficult to prep, yes even though you just have to cut it. A small mistake in the preparation could have killed the woman due to the blowfish releasing toxins if cut incorrectly.

Well these assassin's really seem to have their Japenese culture deeply rooted in them. In Japan there are lots people who would do their small businesses at night, I mean when I went to Japan once(and loved every moment of it) there are food carts just about every corner, with the smell of ramen in the air. One could see in the owners faces that they were happily satisfied with what they have chosen to do and be, especially the elders. My guide and many of the locals had a fondness of calling those elders with their carts "originals", not to mention their food was "chef's kiss".
Only the most experienced chefs make sushi from the toxic blowfish. One wrong cut can mean the customer getting poisoned. Notice how Zero wasn't even looking at the fish while cutting it. Him offering the blowfish sushi was like extending a resume - it showed how confident he was of his abilities that he dared offer a poisonous fish's sushi to someone as important as the Adjudicator
Am I the only one noticing that Zero has his own name in Chinese character (零) embroidered on his collar? And I like how the name of the sushi bar 平家 literally translates to "Peaceful Home." Definitely creates more context to Zero's backstory that this sushi bar is a front as a peaceful home away from the assassin's life.
I am Japanese. The description of this sushi restaurant is so far-fetched, it would never happen in Japan! But Japanese people love this scene. It was a wonderful movie. I am looking forward to the next one.
I always thought the black coin the woman was showing was a currency similar to the regular gold coins all other characters use. Then it hit me that her black coin was the equivalent of a cop showing a badge.

He's a genuinely nice dude who just wants to fight his biggest idol. He's also a cat person. It's… honestly a little hard for me to not feel bad for him. He was a really cool antagonist who actually gave John a run for his money. Really wish he survived and made it to chapter 4

I remember being with my friend, this was the first John Wick movie I've ever watched and when I heard Ninjari Bang Bang I was fangirling a lot and my friend was like "Gosh, don't tell me you know the song" "Yep" And I didn't followed this scene at all for the song in the background 😂😂😂

The experience chefs can "cut" a blowfish in a matter of seconds just so long as they know where to "cut". With proper training you can learn how to "cut" a blowfish just as it takes training to become an assassin to "cutting" a human being into pieces. We see this in the next scene of how skilled the assassins are quickly "cutting" down their opponents like fish. This was by far one of the most clever introductions to a character I have seen in a movie.
