First things first, be warned because this is definitely my most violent comp yet (and probably the most violent im ever going to release). These are all scenes where our hero goes a little past badass and starts to push into “okay hes dead you can stop stabbing now“ territory. Dont get this mixed up with my badass movie moments series because these moments are meant to be over the top, so be ready!
Also, it took a while to make this video because I had to many scenes to choose from and I decided to cut out a few because they were a little too much. But if you're curious, these are the scenes I deemed “too savage“:

That walking dead scene was a breaking point for rick to stop being moraly correct and start being the savage that world needed

Loved that scene. So much anger and pain behind his journey to get there.
Dude that was beyond savage....that was drop dead cold blooded
The moment he realized he summed the situation up wrong.
I always liked the small details at the dinner table scene. The mothers face when he brings up his daughter, her now knowing it won't just be her and her husband that pay for his crimes. And the order in which he kills them to, the wife first then the kids, it tells about his character. How even as he butchers innocents ( the family is not to blame for the father being a murderer ) he won't put the mom through the brief moment of having to watch her children die. Sicario is one of my favorite films.
There is also a control factor here. The look he gives after telling his boys to eat and they do, overcoming their fear.. Showing his power over the most powerful emotion of fear.
Even at the end, "Not in front of my boys" trying to control to the very end, not realizing he just ordered the death the of his own sons.
Starts it off with "every night, you have families killed. Tonight should be no different.." And ends with it being true. He killed his own family..
And of course, after the death of the wife and sons.. "Finish your meal..." Showing whose fully in control....
Yeah.. I tend to overthink things way too much. :(

From blues to greys, which I read represents her view on the world and her Justice system and he lack of faith in it by The end. The dude did such a good job on his movies, I love all the hidden or little shit that makes you think.

The Punisher fighting in jail was vicious and brutal, but The Sicario scene was savage on another level, I definitely didn't see that coming.

Right on point about Sicario. Now THAT is revenge done right. I'm tired of those stories in which the "hero" goes after revenge, but is like "oh, I want to have my revenge, but I can't do anything that is morally incorrect." Bitch, if you want REAL revenge, throw your morality in the trash. There's nothing moral about revenge, no matter how small it is. It literally means you just want the people who made you suffer to suffer too. Morality should have no place in revenge stories.
I'm not a fan of this Punisher. I skipped that scene entirely. There are more savage Punisher scenes to be found outside this MCU garbage. I seem to remember an absolutely brutal Punisher short film that John Romita Sr. (could have been Jr.) gave a nod to some time ago. Can't recall the name of it. Gah. I'll find it. Anyway, Punisher comics have never been outdone by anything put to film. Trust me, if you read Punisher comics, that piece of crap they put out on Netflix will let you down on so many levels. Homelander has nothing on Frank Castle's carnage. F that show.

@@kevinjackson1893 The one with Ray Stevenson? Yes, it's the only Punisher movie I enjoyed. Comes close to the level of ultraviolence that the comics portray. RIP to Ray. Can't believe he died at 58. Just finished watching him as Blackbeard the pirate on Black Sails. He's excellent in the old HBO series Rome, as well.

I always crack up when he stops in the middle of flexing, whips around with the point and just says "YOU", the guy tries to run and gets shot, and the ensuing dialog. It all comes together perfectly and hilariously.

17:12 this is a perfect ending, as sad as it is, he wanted him to know the pain he felt and will have to harbor for the rest of his life. He gave him the easy way out by killing him.

I would have paralyzed him and prevented him from ever speaking again. That way all he could do is sit there grieving for his family and couldn't tell anyone who did it. There are other ways of communicating, of course but it would have been very hard. At the very least paralyzed him and make him lay there looking at their bodies until he died. 🤷♂️
The scene from TWD reminds me of what a Marine Corps SOI hand-to-hand combat instructor told us:”every part of the human body can removed with your hands or teeth”. We weren’t learning how to fight anymore.

It's something that can really change a person how an altercation plays out. It happened when sometimes I see people dying in street fights. It's become survival over honorability.

I love the little detail of the bloody Punisher skull on Frank after he slices the dude’s throat. Daredevil and Punisher really were the best Marvel series, so sad to see them cancelled

The Sicario Dining scene always give me goosebumps. The acting is so incredibly good.
That Inglourious Basterds scene is so good..everything about it - perfect writing, acting, execution.

That scene from Sicario is a CLASSIC. The woman who plays the wife only had a very brief moment on screen but she did a fantastic job!
That scene where Rick bites that guys neck has stayed permanently in my mind. We as people panic when confronted with dangerous situations. That scene..if I ever get attacked by someone I’m biting their neck, ripping eyes out, anything.

That Sicario scene at the end will never not be one of the most brutal scenes ever.
Love how you inserted the build-up too, rather than just showing the deaths without context, makes it much more interesting to watch. Btw have you seen S. Craig Zahler movies (Brawl in Cell Block 99, Bone Tomahawk, Dragged Across Concrete) ? Those movies have very raw gore and pure savagery, I don't know where you would put those in the list haha

I remember watching Sicario as a kid with my dad, and that scene caught me so off guard, that’s when I first saw that not everything is a happy ending.
At the dinner table at 16:54 the immediate change in demeanor in Julio is spot on perfection; he realizes at that moment his wife and kids were going to die at the table when Alejandro tells him "It's personal for me." He believed until then that he was going to be the only one to die.

That last sicario scene is always so crazy to me. I always think its so sad the kids die but ultimately i get where he is coming from. He wanted that guy to feel exactly what he felt. And even though he did that i felt he killed him to quickly. He shouldve gave it more time to sink in i think. Idk either way its a great movie
I lost interest in the walking dead looooong before that clip took place, but holy fuck that was glorious. That's what every parent worth the meat they're made of would do to someone who tried to lay a hand on their kid like that.

5:18 If you look real close you can see the skull in the blood stain on Frank's jumpsuit. You see it again in the scene after this when they're dragging him out and the camera pans down to a puddle on the floor and the stain is reflected in it.

I’m glad somebody mentioned the symbolism there. Right after their first retaliation failed and they could’ve been dead right there, he crosses that line and rips his throat out like the creatures they’ve all fought against.

Other than The Master Leone himself, no one has used Maestro Morricone's music to greater effect than Tarantino. It's the music combined with the Sgt's courage and dignity that gives both the Bear Jew and the audience a moment of pathos, regret and respect, Bravo!!!!

I was absolutely stunned that entire Walking Dead scene when I first saw it. Didn't even know how to react.
The whole point of sending in infantry is so that we DON’T kill civilians, among other things (I’m referring to the scene from The Boys).
That is not “the whole point” of infantry lol.

The whole point of sending the infantry in is because we don't have psychotic super heroes to go in instead.
Its more than that. But the fact that Homelander kind of just shows up rather than going through the proper channels of the military to okay his involvement, and then proceeding to do their job (in which, his case, they may have been there for HVT capture or sensitive information extraction... Possibly even a Hostage Rescue) in a very poor manner while then stating mission accomplished.
I do like the fact that the Special Forces team, upon seeing him just indiscriminately slaughter someone fleeing the scene in such a grotesque manner, show visible disgust at his indiscriminate use of his powers... Which would probably be a major reason why, as the show goes on, even the military gets tired of these supers getting involved and messing up operations that they are trained, paid, and deployed to handle with care and purpose.
People say I’ll never get those 15mins back. Best 15 mins I’ve ever spent on CZcams! 👏 Bravo!!

I am very happy that you have put the daredevil prison scene, when I saw it for the first time it was incredible.
Kills the mother, then the children, so she wouldn't see her boys killed. That's another level of savagery, control, and compassion rolled into one. Goes into it knowing he's going to kill the boys, but has the presence of mind and compassion to not let the mother see her boys killed. Great writing.

Ive watched that scene with rick 5-6 times. Until now i never realized how many times he stabbed him with that knife. Carls gave never moved off his dude putting that guy down.
