We’ve visited this resort many times (first went in 2008), and are returning in October (staying in a villa) after a five-year gap. I must say that this report is one of the most informative I’ve seen. Delighted to see the Grand hasn’t changed very much over the years. The food was always very good and high quality and the staff wonderful. The evenings can be quiet if you dine early and are waiting for the 10pm show. The lobby bar is fairly small and entertainment is low key - but you can always get out to one of the other resorts or the commercial centre. Not far to walk if you cut through the Maya pyramid...can always take a golf cart if you don’t like to walk. Great coffee and sandwich/pastry shop in the pyramid as well...and peacocks.

I’ve been 2 twice . They run specials on this place around Black Friday . Iberostar is hands down one of the best in the Riveria Maya area .
My favorite all inclusive, bar none. There is a sit down lunch restaurant with a full menu and buffet also, the round building near the beach

We didn’t try, but I’m pretty sure staying here you can use all amenities! It’s the highest tier

What other resorts have you been to? We were planning to stay at TRS Yucatan, but now it's not opening until November. This is one of the few resorts on our list.
Secrets silver sands, then another one I can’t remember but I think it’s up on this channel, it was about 3 years ago. This year we are trying TRS Coral!! In October

Based on the video...I was slightly underwhelmed considering all the rave reviews. The seaweed really irked me...
