- We’ve locked in the names for our baby boys and we are excited to share them with you! Please keep the comments positive as thinking of names can be hard and my wife and I really fell in love with these.
Correct spelling is Lochlan, if you mean land of the lakes. It’s Irish.

Love the names, though you may not want to shorten Baby C's name to Bris. A Bris is a Jewish circumsision ceremony for baby boys. My husband had a Bris, which is why I know. 😮
The shortened name for Richard exists so I doubt that's really a problem

For me, it was pretty real just seeing the ultrasound, and knowing the gender. With our first we thought we had a name picked, but it didn't fit him once we saw him. In fact we had a list of 14 names and none of the names fit him. We had to research more names right there in the hospital. The next 2 kids we had longer lists of names so that wouldn't happen again. I just can't imagine being so sure of their name before seeing them in person

My 4th & 5th babies were fraternal twin girls. At the time they were born, I had a 1yr old boy, a 5 yr old girl & 7 yr old boy. No help from anyone, but 8 wouldnt have had it any other way. Congrats & welcome to the multiples club!
Love all of the names, over here, Locklan is the Scottish/celtic spelling meaning land of lochs, I.e. Land of lakes, also a variation in Gaelic Lochlainn, meaning the same.

I would have the middle names as the first names. The first names you chose were a mouthful and will surely be shortened. But James, Scott and Lee would be easier on everyone.
You must not have children we do they were ours so we picked names that we wanted not names to make someone else happy. Just wish them good luck and God's blessings and roll on.
@@suelivingston9217 Actually I do have children and I gave them names that can be easily spelled, won't be shortened and other kids won't make fun of them. Locklan will get Lock, Wilder will get Wild and Brisbane will get Bris. That's why I prefer the middle names of James, Scott and Lee. But you are correct in your thought, that it is the parents' prerogative to name their children and they don't need to please other people.

Personally I prefer traditional names.
If someone wants to name their child and or children unique names hey whatever floats their boat. HOWEVER be prepared for what happens in the future because of the choice to name your kids unique names
They could go by their more common middle names. Except Leigh is the feminine form of Lee.

You guys are precious! Congratulations on all your baby boys! All the names are great! I especially love Wilder. This was my grandfather, my dad and my brother's names. All of whom have now entered eternal rest in the arms of Jesus. My dad's youngest grandchild is also Wilder. He will be three is February. Multiples are exciting! My sister has twin girls and we've know many families with multiples including three families with triplets and one family with quads! You will do great! The Lord Jesus our Savior is with you! Locklan because of Lakes? Theres no lake derivative in Locklan. It's either Lachlan or Lochlan. The Gaelic is Laochail or Lochlainn. Must be a remake but either way a loch or lach is a lake and a lock isnt 😊

I like all of the names. All of them are unusual which is cool and they all "flow", They're not awkward or complicated. " Lock" ,"Wild" and "Bris" LOL even cool shortened. God Bless You both and give you both the strength and wisdom to guide them as they grow. Not to be funny but Be sure and talk to her belly and if either or both of you sing do that as well.

I live in Brisbane, so that's not something I would have thought to name a person. We shorten it to Brissie, as you know. Love their names.

Anyone who is Jewish will recognize Bris as a circumcision ceremony, and Leigh is the feminine version of Lee. Just thought you might like to know, because Baby C has to live with whatever name you choose. Best wishes to you!

@@laurasiegal3Same thing as a “Bris”. Both names are correct. I was married to a Jewish man for 20 years. Some of his family were Orthodox Jews, but he was raised conservative. His family was not happy at first that he married a gentile woman. We also did not have a bris for our sons, and his father was very unhappy about it. My ex later became a messianic Jew because of my Christian influence. We are still friends. What the ceremony is called might depend on where you live, and what denomination you belong to.

Ok lets just say that the name Brisbane for a child is very unusual and that is coming from an Aussie. I can see Darwin, Tassy (Tasmania), Adelaide or Sydney being used but definitely not Brisbane. I get that there is a lot of significance to the name and meaning, but still its not something used in naming a child, even for us Aussies. Brizzy could work well. I am not saying this to be mean, but fo someone that was bullied due to their name, I can say it brought a lot of pain. Having a non-English name compared to having a sibling with an English name, it led to a lot of horrible nicknames (along with bullying due to my height). If its ammo that a kid can use, they will use it. Hopefully, the boys will protect each other and be protected by their older sister too.

Back when I had my kids there was no gender reveal, no ultrasound, and the names were very common. I say CONGRATULATIONS and keep ‘em in the oven a little bit more👶👶👶. ❤gayle

i like the names but tbh it’s a little sad that they picked names that relate to just the husband and his family names, middle name or places he’s from/been to. ofc i’m not saying they should change them, these are their own kids after all but i think it would’ve been nice to see her contribute a name or middle name that relates to her life/interests
They explained everything, she doesn't seem sad about any of the names THEY chose.
They said that Scott was also her grandmother's maiden name so it was sentimental on both sides

Her grandmother's maiden name is Scott, I do agree he seems to always have to have things his was tho. She may be just as happy as he is with them since that's going to be some unique names for her children also. And again she may just want to make her husband happy regardless of how she feels. I think he also named their daughter but I honestly don't watch them. I come check on her ever once in awhile because I truly hope she has a healthy pregnancy. Having triplets is HARD work, carrying them to a safe term is even harder.
