I've been watching ur vids for a few months now, and I really appriciate these one's where you explain what you do. As a plat I can def use the advice and I was told I should learn better game sense before mechs. That being said I try to think about where the ball can go and possition myself better. but like the last game I was in I'll have team8s who dont clear the ball when it's in the corner and they're the only one around it, they legit just went and sat in goal. solo play is ruf

You should "mess up" the kickoff every once in a while so we can see what to do in situations where you, specifically, lose the kickoff, because basically everyone just...panics lmao
Just rotate back as soon as you can and recognize where you should be rotating in depending on where the ball is and how close the opponent's are and who has the faster momentum
If your going for kick off and miss
look for the mini pad path for back post rotation
@@user-ff3zt4ir4o I meant mostly for others, personally, I like to make myself useful by rotating through pads and look for a bump to punish cheating players. But, that's just my approach. My advice is if you lose the kickoff, you usually lose the boost, so just grab pads and rotate behind the play so your team can aggro without leaving the net open. Plus, you'll get goal-side faster, and you can rotate closer or further from the play to increase/decrease defensive pressure if needed. Bumping is usually reserved for moments where you commit too much, regardless of skill or mind games. It's the best way to relieve pressure on the ball if you find yourself out of position, especially if well placed/timed.
Keep in mind I'm not high ranked, I'm just good at analysis. It's just what I notice in my own matches. I'm 1k on a good day

Learning this in early gold so long ago basically created my whole playstyle, and now that I’m better and more confident with my solo play I developed Jacks thing of using opponents as a way to pass to myself😭 I never realized how much I did that pros do but on a much worse level until I started getting into watching rlcs

You wouldn’t believe how often I get teammates that chase down ball touches at the end of them game and I just refuse to double commit and they get furious when at the end of the game we’ve lost and they think they’ve done nothing wrong.

I still don't understand this thing about Champs not speed flipping. I'm in the Diamond/Champ range and at least half of the players speed flip on the kickoff. I'm just wondering if this is an NA/EU thing where NA players don't learn it until a little later or if your lobbies are not representative of the majority of Champs in your region.

I think I said this already, but I still believe that playing with you would feel more "natural" for your teammates if in situations where you say "players of this elo wouldn't be able to do this" you'd act like you were going for it but miss instead of just stopping because that can seem really awkward, especially when it is caught in a goal replay.
This was most noticable in lower elos with the "I'm gonna let this ball go in" situations, where even low elo players on watching the replay can easily tell that you let the ball in (essentially griefing them). I think it would be better to go for a fake-safe or intentional miss in those cases because people mostly don't get mad about mistakes, but definitely do get mad about people intentionally sabotaging their games (and rightfully so imo).
Edit: I wanted to mention (but forgot) that this is obviously just a hypothetical suggestion, since I have no grasp of how easy or hard it is for someone of your skill level to intentionally dive past a ball in the middle of a game. I know that I could never pull that off to be even remotely convincing, but that doesn't mean anything.

Second comment but and idea just popped up: Make a mode where u can't touch the ground after midfield. That way the only plausible way to score is a team passing play in the air. Would love to see u and the pros tackle that idea 😉
maybe do the usual Normal, then Unlimited boost, then Boomer ball. Idk, now i'm just imagining you and the crew trying to create good RL plays in the air while having to fight a fully functional defense that also needs to counter in the air/wall after.
honestly in that first game, this is why i don't understand why people duo queue in 3s if they're not the same rank. puts your random teammate at a disadvantage, if those are their true ranks. leth's team, 3 champs, should win vs 2 champs and a d2 every time.
