Co wrote it's often a team of 4-5 people if it was written at a songwriting camp for MGP.

Didn’t Elsie also say she worked on “I Can’t Escape” for Imerika in Mgp? I feel like there was an interview with her (maybe Nrk) where they talked about her previous work on Mgp and she mentioned that song.

No it was mostly written by Ben Adams who also produced it. Would be worth to make one of him by the way. Quite active at MGP over the years.

I absolutely love most of her songs and her songwriting (especially Love you in a Dream and Not meant to be), but can we just agree that hammer of thor was absolute shit and had no story to it lol

@@esc_abi For me the lyrics are just so empty. It feels very gimmicky in the sense that it's just putting a bunch of nordic things into it to get populairty. It doesn't feel like it tries to tell a story, it just feels like something that was made to try to be popular outside of norway. Yeah, idk, 'i stole the hammer of thor' just seems lazy. Like as a norwegian i love when songs have hints of our culture, but this one is just tacky. Compared to for example Gåte with Ulveham this year. It's ethnic, but tasteful and unique, and it's something they made to tell a story, and they didn't just construct the song to be popular - it's something they would have made either way! Anyways, no like actual hate to the song or anyone who likes it
