i can't imagine how alice must feel. seeing the characters she created, has been drawing for years, in the flesh, alive and breathing.
Not to mention how they resemble her drawings really well especially Nick and Charlie. It's almost like they jumped out of the books and manifested into full fledged humans. For her it must feel like she's literally interacting with the characters she created and not just actors pretending to be them
She must be used to it by now but the casting process might have definitely a pinch-me moment for her

It's noticeable how Kit is the most reserved out of the cast. Basically growing up in the industry taught him to filter himself and be extremely careful of how he conducts himself.

Thatâs what Iâve been seeing. Because of his age when he started, I feel that itâs the reason why so many have an attraction or eye for Kit. He doesnât act like many of his age and he is more reserved. He acts so much older than 18 and itâs probably why people are so infatuated with him. He played the role on Nick really well and I guess people are trying to see through that bolder of âperfectâ Kit and see him more freely. If that makes sense. He definitely has a much younger face but the way he dresses and his features and his personality and privateness makes him more alluring towards the public. Iâm low key scared of what Kit could be (meaning, Iâm scared to know how he really is and how heâs taking all of this new large popularity for his age. Heâs been very proper and mature in interviews, but I imagine that being a mask, and perhaps heâs either perfectly fine with it bc he knows how to deal with it, or heâs uncomfortable, and although he may know how to deal, heâs still very young and nervous). Canât even start imagining how Kits life will change in just a matter of years. I hope heâs ready for what this job entails. Iâm always scared for young actors bc itâs almost like a cycle. For example, When one direction split, all the boys went there own ways, and Harry styles was very young and â newâ. I feel like Kit is just like Harry in some way. Harry is very private and only really shows what he wants to to his fans. But that took him a long time and practice. Harry learned and grew and keeps learning to this day. Hopefully Kit can figure out what he wishes and doesnât wish for the public to see and hopefully just live the life he wants, that being, being the face of films, or just acting and being what he is, a normal boy with a passion for the arts and living his regular private life. đ

I love how close Alice is with the cast and how much involved she is in the adaptation. That's what set heartstopper apart from other adaptations because they respect the source material.

Speaking as an artist, Kit and Kizzie did the best drawings of Alice. But I love how Kit did it in her style. Starting to wonder if there's anything that kid can't do.
Kit is good at following at what he sees, while Kizzy has their own style. They're all creative.

@@vikio452 they haven't been invited to most of the promo because they're not a part of the lead cast, that's just how this stuff works. And you can see how even this cast appears in relation of how "main" they are. Kizzy and Corinna have done the least promo out of them, then Will and Yaz and obviously Kit and Joe have done the most promo.

I canât imagine how someone like Alice must feel when their book or comic gets brought to life. Sheâs seeing the characters she wrote and drew in real life. Thatâs amazing. Something youâve worked hard for being loved and appreciated by millions around the world must also be an amazing feeling.
Alice's style is quite simple, but so adorable and distinctive & expressive , in my opinion. I'd love to have similar art-style, cartoon-ish, simple/ basic styles are my favourite

itâs so encouraging to see them all together with so many differences. SeeâŠit can be done. Just beautiful and I canât wait to see more of this type of not just acceptance but love for the differnces. Alice Oseman, the director(s) and the cast all deserve praise for bringing some light (and a heartwarming light) to a world that really needs it. Watching this gave me a little hope for the future. The acting was superb. Itâs funny but just the âHiâsâ and âHeyâsâ were so simple but so meaningful and when Aliceâs artwork was on display it really completed the picture and I think conveyed more emotion than more words could have done and certainly not as elegantly. I really loved the coming out scene with Olivia Coleman. Now THAT hit me harder than I thought it would but WOW what a gem that scene was. I think Kit also did a great job of conveying to his mother and the audience just what was going on in his mind. I donât know if itâs his adorable face but Iâm sure heâs got some acting talent. The whole cast really. But in the scene with Olivia he was able to convey so much I was really impressed. Best of luck to all the people involved. Youâve done the world a service and I know youâve helped some young people who donât fit into a pre-made mold start to accept and love the person they are. So Iâll just put it out into the Universe and say âThank you.â â€ïž

I think in my opinion Kit and Joe is literally the embodiment of Nick and Charlie. Like theyâre both their real life versions from the book. From the personality and to their physical appearance it all lines perfectly with the fictional Nick and Charlie! And they were able to really add color and life in their acting in the TV Series
