After all the test, I found Samsung Galaxy A50 is not waterproof. It is only splashproof. Samsung Galaxy A50 is IPX3 rated which is basic splashproof level.
My suggestion is : don’t try putting your Samsung Galaxy A50 into water. And if your Samsung Galaxy A50 got water damage, you should tear down the device and eliminate the moisture in it.

Ah yes, I just bought my new A50. Showering with it is boring, let's put it in coca cola and freeze it for 15 hours. If the phone doesn't work after freezing it on coca cola, it's not worth the money.

In one aspect, this video IS useful. Samsung gave the A50 no rating, however the showering of this device in water shows that light spillage or rain "should" be ok if it is allowed to dry out afterwards. That is a good real life example. However, no one would freeze their phone in cola, it should have stopped there.

No, but to be safe immediately power it off and dry it, if you want. Electronics can be saved if you dry them first before they activate, say a TV screen gets soaked. Don't turn it on to test, dry it completely first maybe wait a day and you should be fine

The “test” was off the wall and pointless. It was an acid test, not a water-resistance test. I am surprised the innards of the phone were not damaged more.

The issue with the freezing test. Although that's cool. Is that different IP-x ratings means that the phone can only be submerged under water for x amount of time. Frozen or not.

The back shell is not a gradient glass material. The back is plastic, as well as the whole body, exept for the screen and eternals.

No, the phone is not waterPROOF. The phone is IP68 Certified waterRESISTANT. Important difference. IP68 means that the phone has been tested for 30 minutes, submerged in 1,5m (5feet) deep water and survived.
I read the terms of use. If your phone felt the lowest temperature, the battery will degrade. Don't do this guys.

I think if you want to know the cp if a real water proof. After more than 1year of using after you buy it. Then you must try it the water proof taste. Bcoz lots of cp technician he says if the cp is new its guaranteed like a water proof bcoz the glue that they put its still new. But after 1year you use it, the glue inside of the phone its not that effective than before.
