GPS Rescue works really well on Betaflight 4.5 RC4

  • This video shows me testing GPS recue.
    QUAD : Nazgul5
    FC : IFLIGHT_SUCCEX_E_F7
    GPS : Flywoo GoKu GM10 Mini V3/Compass GPS
    I think this test was a great success. GPS rescue worked fantastically well.

    Would anyone know why my drone wants to pitch forward and back it doesn’t come home at all it just wants to rock back and forth. Im new to the hobby and don’t understand much.

      Check your throttle hover position is set correctly and that your return to home speed is not set too low.

      Are you running beta flight 4.5? If not reflash it works perfectly

      @@flat-earther Ha ha... yes stealing is wrong. But taxation is unfortunately a necessary evil. There are some things that have to paid for to make life better for everyone. Like roads and infrastructure and police etc. So tax is unpleasant but necessary.

    4.5 not 5.3 first off and you don't have your hover set right and with a m10 chip set gps you should be getting over 20 sat locks and your not you don't have it set up right mine lands no more than 4 feet away from its home location every time it lands and when your is coming down it drops and then spins up that's not right it should come down slow and even and land very softly and your does not you don't have it set up right throttle and hover look like not set right.

      Ah yes. Thank you for pointing out my typo. As for the GPS rescue failure. Yeah, I agree that it must be somthing in my settings that caused it ti fly so badly. I tested two quads with the same firmware and same GPS. The other one worked fine. So it must be my settings. Are you also using a Flywoo Explorer?

      Actually I see now your comment is on my quad that I thought worked well. Hmmm it will be nice if I can get this one ti work even better. Thanks for the tip. I will play around with the hover throttle settings and see if I can make it even better.

      I changed the throttle hover settings a little bit and GPS rescue landings is perfect now.
