What is the definition of an "open air prison"?
Someone controls you ability to leave, and controls what products are allowed in. They control the water you drink, your electricity. They did manage to create a society within the confines of what Israel would allow. Of course, now it's all gone now.

That mosque is typical Christian Church architecture , the main hall with a left and aright wing representing the Cross , if this is the oldest mosque in Garza that means it was Christian first before it got invaded by Islam, proof that Palestinian's were not there for thousands of year , don't get upset , just making a point . I had no idea they had religious diversity like this and highly advanced education despite being crowded which is the lack of space being confined to such a small land well because they are deprived entry to the land they came from. That said, learn carefully why the tactics deployed by Hamas on October 7th were not in line with tactics practiced by your people. And your people deserve an end to apartheid. Yes it’s apartheid.
Many Israeli young people, kids, elderly, they would love to play in the ocean waves with your kids, they would love to sing and dance with the young people of Gaza, they would love to even see or do an exchange program in a Gaza classroom , they don’t because their Govt and your Govt induce fear, and that fear is perpetuated by military tactics, not just IDF Israel’s but Hamas representing your state, do you really want them to be your authority? I understand though why you have to have them as your authority there is no other voice that has the resources and might to carry on a liberation concerted effort at this time. It is tragic it is this way. You can do better. As you know too well, Harming civilians does not work well on any side no matter how oppressed the nation doing the operation. Perhaps Resistance doesn’t have to destroy human life to be strong, most property is replaceable while human lives of ALL peoples in the whole world aren’t.
Thank you for your comment. I am a Gazan and I appreciate your interest. I want to answer your question: Hamas isn‘t very liked in Gaza and they wouldn‘t even the elections if we had some. The last election was hold in 2006 an Hamas only won it because people in Palestine were very disappointed of the former force holder (PLO). They didn‘t care for Israels crimes against us and even started to help israel to oppress us, so Hamas was the only option to resist the oppression, but surely they failed.
