We have run out of Schengen days so we decided to visit Didim in Turkey as it isn't a Schengen country. Also, it's the place where we bought a property and owned it for ten years before selling it in 2017 and moving to Torrevieja in Spain. This video shows our journey to Turkey our hotel and the visit to our old apartment. We also have a great meal at the Muco Restaurant and Cafe Bar in Didim for an unbelievable price.

Hi Nicola, I think we've endured your "keyboard warrior" comments before, This is our channel, it's called "Between the Lakes" as we named it when we started nearly 4 years ago. You seem to be confusing quality with content. The quality of production is the most consistent thing about this channel. If you don't like the content, you are, of course, free to "not watch it", We don't need you to "advise" us what to do with our own property. We don't get paid for doing this, we do it because we want to and we enjoy it.
As the episode states, we are out of Schengen days and we can't film in any Schengen country at the moment so we can't be "Between the Lakes" even if we wanted to. Most of our subscribers would prefer us to produce content, on our travels, in other countries, as opposed to not filming at all as this also gives a comparison of different places to Spain.
We think your comment is extremely rude and we call for others to give their opinions on this matter. Please share your comments on this thread if you have anything to say.....

if u flow through german airspace, u would go via austria, just south of us, i watch flights all day when i have time, there are alot of flights going to turkey....we r trying to get to torrevieja in october, as daniela has locked holidays she is in the political scene and all holidays cancelled.. i am in the middle of silly seasons with the hospitals, basicilly, the operation u waited for, the is a vacancy, take it or u wait again 2 years...... so make hay while the sun shines.... always the best. chris and dani from austria.

Hi Martin, we went to Turkey to see our old place and catch up with old friends that still live there. Also we had run out of our 90 days so couldn’t go back to Spain.
We love Torrevieja and we are very happy there. We would never get bored of fed up with the bars, there are too many to get tired of… and I promise to never get tired and boring like you Martin, lol.

I'm in Turkey nowadays. Very disappointed with the overpriced and attraction tickets are 2 difference price for native and tourist.
They just reap of your money and everywhere exaggeration and food quality and quantity also not good.
Don't come here.
Hi Eman, yes, we agree, prices have gone up in Turkey and certain businesses have gotten a little more greedy and are making more money off the tourists, especially some bars and some hotels. But bargains can still be found from the honest businesses like Muco and MyBar who make a modest profit and do not rip off the tourists. Prices in Nth Cyprus have flown through the roof. Your mainland prices are much more competitive. I feel that the majority of businesses here are adding a little extra on to the price increase’s. A lot of food prices are now in line with UK costs and in some cases exceed them. Last week, 1kg of lamb mince cost £20! We no longer eat out as many times as we used to and do a lot more entertaining at home. Good luck.

We find out where all the good ones are and stick to them. Let those who can afford to use them do so.
