Hi Liz -- Your Strathspey is so beautiful. :) Linda Rosch from Wash, D.C. (stopped playing fiddle because of shoulder/neck probs 2 years ago; bought Abell C/D whistles and am now working very diligently with them - playing Irish trad again and so happy about that.

The entire set is a 'delight.' The reel, "With Ourselves" is one I heard played at the Ice House a very very long time ago (August, W. Virgiia.) I played a little bit of it for some people and no one in D.C. had heard it at the time. Nuala Kennedy is a "wonder" on the flute - and the entire band is great. The rhythm players tend not to get mentioned -- but if there are rhythm players -- the quality of their playing will often make or break the entire sound (only IMO.) :) Linda

wow, it's disconcerting how out of sync the audio and video are on this, it's off by about an eighth note. still fun to see these amazing musicians play, just harder to steal their licks :)
