- The f*cking allstar Dany Heatley proved to everyone why he's an allstar as he continued his allstar pace from 2005-06 with this season. Throughout the season, he was a scoring machine and achieved another 50 goal season in a row. He added 55 assists to get another 105 point season. His shots once again are up there over the 300 mark and he was a +31 as he was part of a growing Ottawa team. His 50 goals were second in the league behind Vinny Lecavalier and here is most of his 50 goals highlighted in this video. I wish I could get them all but I gotta use what I have. Enjoy the compilation!

Yeah, Steven Stamkos had 60 in 2012, but did he have 50 in 07?
Exactly lol
Stamkos was not drafted till 08
@@BradenYG DID HE HAVE 50 IN 07
He had only 42 in 06-07. Brutal
Dany “back door PP tap in” Heatley
🅿️🅿️
Spezza just feeding him
Ignorance is bestowed upon the stupid. Just keep me posted on the details eh
"Aheh, im a fuckin all star bud"
Y'ever notice how videos from around 04-08 look like they come from 1907, but videos from *actual* 1907 are in 4k at 60fps? 🤷♂️
lol well that was what NHL was uploading on CZcams at the time. It was all bad quality and I tried my best to upscale it
There are high quality copies of all these games. We just don’t have access to many of them.
Fuckin all star
heater spezza alfie what a trio back in the day
What a fun time to be a Sens fan. We shoulda had a cup one of these seasons but just could never get it done in the playoffs.
Oh yeah, you guys had such a sick roster. People like Heater, Alfredsson and Spezza
As a sens fan I always like to think that we would’ve won the 2004-05 Stanley cup
Was just thinking that same thing. I never realized how stacked they really were.
@@connorsmity26862003 perhaps, pretty solid team
Fukn Allstar
Haters gon hate but my man put up some fuckin goals back in the day. Nice to remember when Ottawa had some success...
He was great for them! I love goofing on him though haha. I don't really hate him at all.
Fkn all star
#50in07
Heck yeah man! This is the real 50in07 video
@@EpicArceus Glad to see someone finally uploaded most of it. F**kin All-Star.
Even as a leafs fan I gotta say ottawa had sick line up. Redden, alfie, Spezza , Hartley
at 1:57, after the Sens score, we get to see Jacques Martin but he is coaching the Florida Panthers.
Ya…. Kinda makes u wonder
heatly and kovalchuk were both goal scoring brutes, not some cinderella dudes
What does that even mean
Ottawa had so many good teams, can't believe they didn't get a cup
For some reason he’s not on the Ottawa All Time team in NHL 23

Sad that his career was plagued with the Dan Snyder thing and then later on his ability to not find his game...
Yeah, it's unfortunate for sure. He had so much potential to continue scoring 50 a season.
11DNA11 It’s not that. It was just an accident. Besides, he didn’t have the right supporting cast around him in Minnesota and he also had a defensive-minded coach in Mike Yeo, who was also a players’ coach. That’s why he lost his magic. If Heatley were on my Rangers in 2011-12, instead of Gaborik, Heatley would’ve had the right supporting cast around him in Ryan Callahan and Brad Richards, along with the right head coach in John Tortorella. As much as it would’ve helped my Rangers and John Tortorella’s “safe is death” offensive system, it would’ve also helped Heatley, himself and he would’ve scored at least 50 goals that season and we would’ve at least made the Final that year, instead of the Devils.
EpicArceus it’s very sad that he had the wrong supporting cast in Minnesota and the wrong coaching staff. Mike Yeo is a players’ coach and a defensive-minded coach.
@@jasonarokiaraj9817 Ah I see. Yeah I noticed how he really declined over the years after Ottawa. I guess he just needed the right chemistry and coach that pushes him to play offensively. Thanks for the explanation!
i think when he hit 30 his body just gave in, looked like he was skating in molasses second year in Minny
How many in 07?...
*50*
Only guy to ever get 50 in 07 ;)
52 isn't 50 so Vinny doesn't count lol
"HD"
Come onnn, I tried lol
I can change it to "SD" if you like haha
He really fell off after being traded, I wonder how he feels now about it
True, his first season in San Jose was ok though but after that, yikes. I guess he was just really good with Spezza and Alfredsson
@@EpicArceus but he could score on mediocre Thrashers team as well. Thing is he was too reliable on his physics. As soon as he started to lose it through injuries that was over for him
@@EpicArceus, he won the Calder Trophy and scored 41 goals in his second season in the NHL. And that was before he was traded to Ottawa, and still playing on a mediocre team, might I add.
@@redninelowdog Oh yeah, he definitely could score without Spezza and Alfredsson. The only thing is he lost his touch after the 00's decade.
@@EpicArceus, you're right. I do think, however, his decline can be attributed to the fact that he didn't take his nutritioning and conditioning seriously (this was highly reported in the news) which is why he played so poorly later in his career.
Then again, how motivated would he be to stay fit and healthy with Dan Snyder's death hanging over his shoulders?
