My ex husband is 6ft 8", I'm 5ft even.
One time, when he was getting violent with me, I (finally) decided to fight back.
I jumped, and as I caught air, I threw a kind of superman uppercut, catching him on the chin, snapping his head back.
I didn't knock him out, and he didn't fall down. He punched me in the face, but I *did* use my lower center of gravity to knock him down. I was about to stomp on his neck (like my jailbird brothers taught me to), but I couldn't hurt the person I created LIFE with, and the neighbors rushed over to separate us til the police arrived.
He went to jail, we got divorced, but were determined to remain civil for the sake of our children.
It worked! Our kids had a ridiculously happy childhood (according to them), and they never even knew we'd ever fought.
Now, that same person who abused me (didn't abuse wife #2, thank goodness!) is now a card-carrying WOMAN.
I have absolutely ZERO regrets, lol.

People always wanna compare themselves to fighters from a decade or two ago. The sport has evolved since then. If the legends back then had the same knowledge, training, supplements, and information that we have today. Those legends would be even better than they were already. Don't slouch on the vets. Seems like mid or late 30's is the cut off period for athletes to say "I can't do this anymore". Meanwhile, Yoel Romero is still competing in combat sports at 47 and Mike Tyson is coming back to Box. It really depends on your body and drive for competition. So a mix of both for some people.

I spent time with Schaub and had interactions with Rogan. Saying he's 5'5" means he had heels on. My 2 year older sister is 5'1" and Rogan definitely isnt 4" taller.
