Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and we are now in the process of growing our family through #adoption. We have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

I know, its so incredible.. I am beyond ecstatic for them. Can't wait to see their lives develop and change so much with a baby in their lives. As things were going I honestly thought we'd have been watching her undergoing transplant surgery around now, not doing this well and becoming parents... it is incredible!!! ❤️❤️❤️
LOL - Clearly all these years of vlogging have also had an impact on Ollie. He knows what he wants to show on camera!
We’ve all got the situation wrong - this is Ollies vlog and he just allows Mary and Peter to be a part of it! 😆 and I’m ok with that! He’s such a sweet dog!

I continue to be amazed that a pill can make such a difference in a person's life. I was a nurse for 4 decades and witnessed amazing therapeutics but I have yet to see something as amazing as Trikafta. Good health to you.
The improvement in your health Mary is so wonderful. What a gift you’ve been given via Tricafta. Thank you, Father for how you’re using advancements in modern medicine to bring about restored health for Mary & so many others.
Dogs are so smart but Ollie is smart beyond words. Love Ollie. It is so great that Mary can do more things than when you lived up North.
I watch your videos regularly but my hubby will catch one with me from time to time. Well it had been a couple years since he saw on and a few weeks ago he gasps and says Oh my goodness. She is doing so good. He was completely shocked and surprised. He knew you had gotten what I called a Miracle med and that you were doing better. But was dumbfounded at just how much better you are doing. I am so very happy for you both. Our prayers were answered. Halleluyah.
I know it's the medicine but definitely what has happened to her is like a real miracle. She was going to start the process of a lung transplant and could't go to church, now she's even helping there. And they had forgotten about even having children.
My daughter is 13 and been on Trikafta almost 2 years now. I definitely tell a difference! Oh my goodness! Only issue we have anymore is her weight once in a while. Usually she's gaining....but like normal adolescence, she loses and then gains and loses again. So we have to use the feed tube sometimes. Otherwise, she's amazing! No hospital stay in almost 5 years. She was on orkambi then Trikafta come out and approved for her age. Hope I'm not jinxing us!
I am continually healing from my mild stroke in August of 2021. Good news is that I am getting closer with my relationship with God. I am eating more nutritiously and taking time for resting. Thanking God for my day, etc. God Bless everyone in the Frey household!😇🥰
Ollie is prepping you for fatherhood, Peter! Every time I would try and show someone or get a video of something my nephews would do when they were toddlers…they would NEVER do it!
I only started watching your Vlogs recently and then went back and watched earlier ones. As a retired Pedi ICU RN who has cared for CF patients all I can say is WOW! The difference in your outward health since starting Tricafta is nothing short of amazing. I also think the migraine prevention and treatment has helped your daily life as well. No more wheelchair or feeds! I am so happy for you and what the future holds. God Bless you both.

I teared up hearing about Mary talk about how Sundays and how much she can do, it is just an amazing difference from a couple years ago! I am so happy for you guys! Can't wait to see how your adoption journey unfolds. Thank you for being an encouragement to me for years, you would praise God even on the hardest of days and you continue to praise him on the best of days now. God is good!
I remember how she often could't and maybe even didn't want to go to church being so sick. I didn't know that she was even helping in the church now, so happy for her.

Yes agree! It was interesting that they were talking about Seasons. Today when I received a packaged of T Shirts in the mail (Not from them ) a sticker with a verse from Ecclesiastes 3:1 Was in the package. It says "To EVERTHING THERE IS A Season A TIME FOR EVERY PURPOSE UNDER HEAVEN." I thought that was appropriate at this time of life. With what has been going on in the world this last year and a half. Plus what my husband and I have been learning through God while he has been off work since July 13th because of a knee injury. Also with me having some health issues and Friends going through different things like Financial situations, Marriage relationships, Moving, Death of Loved ones, or Their own health. Thank you Peter and Mary for your insights of how The Seasons of life are for you both.💕 Would Love to have you Vlog your Sundays. You Can do it then and take Mondays off after a busy good Sunday. I love jars. I'm drawn to them in the stores. I find a million reasons to need them all. You can pour into them, pour out of them, you can share things in them, receive things in them, you can store things up in them, replenish ourselves with the contents in them, you can ferment in them, grow seedlings in them. Jars are a vessel that have so many uses, and I absolutely love them.
Hi guys! It was a lovely mild day in London today and the schools are on their half term break this week, so there’s no Guides, Scouts or ballet this week and I can conserve energy for adventures with Martin! I had my COVID-19 3rd dose or booster of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine earlier too, so working with the youngsters is about to become a lot less risky, thank G-d xxxxxxxxxx
I've learned a ton watching your channel. My youngest daughter had all kinds of resp issues and had the sweat test to check for CF.
Thankfully it was negative but that unknown waiting was awful but your positivity and knowledge helped us why we waited. ❤️

Honestly, it was hard to watch her so sick some days, but I watched and prayed for yall. The days ahead, with the new baby, and the new adventure is so exciting! I love serving with my husband on Sundays. We’re both in choir and he does ushering, song leader for Sunday school and substitute song leader.

Yes! Yes! Yes! This is THE episode I needed in this particular day. Today was a very difficult day with shocking news (bad news) & an emotionally taxing day to say the least. I needed a little bit of my normal so I watched your blog bc it’s something that I do each day. Then there are the two of you, who have shown such grace through serious obstacles, saying “You’ve Got This” and that you are cheering for whatever we (the viewers) are going through.
My fam & I needed that… & all I could say is, ThAnK YoU!!!!!!✨
I have enjoyed your podcast for the last year. Your positive outlook and joy of life is contagious. I had never heard of trikafta before , but yesterday on our local news they announced that it would be fully covered by our health care system.
I live in Canada. I don’t live with a chronic illness but I do suffer with anxiety and it can be pretty difficult some days . Thank you for sharing.

Peter, the feelings of conflict you had in Massachusetts were completely normal. Pastoring isn’t easy, and I’m sure it takes a lot out of you emotionally, tending to the flock. Add to that worrying about your wife and there’s the conflict. I’m so happy that Mary is stable and the two of you can serve your church together!

Most of the time the best paintings are happy accidents. At least for me lol you start painting something and it turns into something else! Usually it turns out better than what you were expecting
I mentioned this when you came out with your robin and whale paintings and i ordeted one for my grandson to be who will be 5 in March! I said you needed to write and illustrate childrens books. Now your gonna be a mom, maybe you can making one for your own, while you wait....and then on to book 2 and 3....etc

Just taking it easy since I need to stay off my ankle until surgery in December. It’s been a rough day with my IBS flaring up. I took some medication. I am starting to feel better.

And the geometric square, rectangular shapes would look great on a feature wall in a house ( if the idea was expanded on). It would look good in a interior design kinda way ( I can picture it with a coffee table in front of it that’s either white or light green. With two small vases containing white and green and purple Orchids on the left and right side of the coffee table. Maybe two or three gardening magazines on the table in kinda a pile) ........... ⚛️ ☮️ 🎨🖌 🌏
