In this song Hwaa can mean 3 things. Thats why at thr end when they say Hwaa, it became flower in the subtitle.
A Korean guy who breaks down Lyrics even said, this song is too Poetic, its hard to exactly put into words.
It shows how deep Soyeons thoughts are.

Soyeon once said that when she gets going the only one that can calm her down is Yuqi. I like to think that that part where her rap gets really fast and shes just kind of going off and then Yuqi starts singing without a break reminds me of what she said.

My fave I-DLE MV,so beautiful and emotive and shiny. Also, this is actually the third of a trilogy of Soyeon's songs telling a story, with "Hann (Alone)", "Hann (Alone in Winter)", and "Hwaa" telling the story of a break-up, the inability of the artist to recover, and finally the rise of the artist from depression, to bloom once more.

What can I say, Soyeon is multi talented and (G)I-DLE greatly benefits from this, they've had some amazing songs throughout their existence, both in lyrics and visuals. I don't know what it is about this song, always makes me emotional when I hear to it, might be the whole vibe it gives out, glad you reacted to it! Great to see you back at it with I-DLE again! Your interpretation of Hwaa is absolutely spot on! This is just a poem. Even the lyrics were written in literary Korean expressions.
And I also believe, Hwaa being I-DLE’s last title track with Soojin, she definitely consciously made some references in Agassy.

I know it was a split that seems to not have been a hostile one between her and the group and they have love for each other which again is sad but beautiful. ❤️
@@ChainReactionsChannel Yes Hwaa was the last TT. They had another single release called (ironically) “Last Dance” right before the controversy broke out. The company minimised Soojin’s part in the MV/song in post-edit. So fans tend to regard Hwaa was the real “last dance” for Soojin.

You know everybody's gonna recommend every TT you haven't checked yet, but I can tell you the whole I Burn EP is magical. It's not that I love every song individually per se, but I remember listening to it on repeat when it came out and it flows so well, it tells a (quite sad) story and has 3 of my 10 favorite songs on it anyway (and the top 2)!

Top 5 kpop groups for me. I've been a fan since jump and never stopped. Yuqi is just a gnat's hair behind Chuu from Loona as my favorite idol. Haven't seen them in concert yet, but hopefully that will change in 2024. Great channel.

Yes honestly all three of those were strongly recommended but I saw a few times, either in YT comments or Twitter, some people said this was an important /iconic song to them so when I wanted to celebrate the awards, I went with this but I plan to check all of them out!
