- We picked up a new tool today, it is the Dewalt DXPW3625 / 3600 Psi pressure washer with the Honda GX200 engine & the Triplex pump. This this is awesome and makes short work of just about any project. We also picked up the Simpson surface cleaner and turbo nozzle but they turned out to be junk so we sent it back and got the Dewalt surface cleaner and it works amazing. Easy one pull start is great also. Check this thing out and let us know what you think. If you have a surface cleaner or turbo nozzle that works great and can handle 3600 psi let us know in the comments section we would like to try them out.

Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well czcams.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.
Just bought a 3100 psi DeWalt with Honda engine...purrs like a happy cat.
Took a lot of pulls first time for me. After that not much problem. Be careful with the two rubber stops at the bottom of the frame. They can break off fairly easily. I had one break off and had to run a real bolt through it and fasten with a nut. The factory rivets that fasten the rubber stops are weak.

Great review. Not often I watch an entire review video but you made it interesting and fairly complete. I'm in Canada and comparatively this DeWalt unit is very competitively priced with a lot of lesser-known brands. This definitely helped me decide, DeWalt owes you one today lol.

Great and easy to understand video!! I have two questions: after turning on the water there is a slow drip from a horizontal metal tube near the water inlet. Is this normal, is this anything to worry about? Second: I have made all the hose connections, turned on the water and then I pressed the trigger of the gun to get the air out and get "a steady stream of water". but no air comes out and NO WATER even after holding down for two minutes. What is the reason and What should I do? Thanks so much for your help Jimmy.

Mine looks exactly like yours, but I don’t see a throttle on mine. I did the first two levers and everything kicked on fine.
How long should you leave the choke fully on?
It shut off when i went to close it after running it for a couple of minutes

Great review! I have purchased the 3600 PSI, but have to ask have you had any issue with the vibration busting off the two rubber feet? There is not a huge amount of vibration, but mine have busted off and looking closely, they are simply riveted on and the rivets don't look to be long enough. Maybe a manufacturing issue, but looking online other models have the feet screwed on. There was some moderate black marking from the feet and wheels from freshly washed concrete that I had to readdress. Learned hard way to not have the pressure washer sitting on clean area to avoid the black marks.

We have not had any issues as of yet with the feet busting off but we do have the black marks that the feet leave on the ground. I guess the vibration wears away the rubber on the feet.
Sir, I tried the following: Kept the water running and removed the high pressure hose. The water is not coming out of the high pressure hose outlet. How to fix this?
So the bag of oil, 431 ml of oil i think. Is the exact amount?

You can move it to full throttle after about 30 seconds with no issue.

@@kristapsstrauts9203 I would try maybe 60 seconds and make sure the fuel is fully in the open position. also make sure to turn the throttle all the way up before switching it. Hope this helps.
I would guess that unit is too powerful for that cheap Simpson surface attachment - I have used one for 5 seasons on my 2300 psi unit that just failed and it has worked great - it is a homeowner owner grade accessory on a pro washer in your case
Great review, I went ahead and got myself one because of it. Question, I'm looking at Orings but I'm not sure if 1/4 inch inner diameter is what I should be looking for to replace to hose and wand orings. What size O-rings are needed to eventually replace them?

You know I am not 100 percent sure but these are the ones I was told will work. amzn.to/3mGJVAa and if you find them to be to small try the next size up at this link. amzn.to/3Qo10wb There are kits that have both in them but not to sure of the brand, but I have used Captain O-ring before and they held up nice, just make sure you lube the seals once and awhile with silicone grease. @@Jimmy2Tech Thanks for the reply Jimmy2Tech. My research revealed that I'm going to need a set of 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch O-rings to replace the O-rings in my DXPW3625 setup. (Inner Diameter)
Home Depot carries a replacement O-ring set in the same aisle they sell the pressure washers. It's like $8 bucks. I grabbed it to have on hand.
Where did you get your 1/4” 50 foot high pressure hose. The hose that connects the pump to spray handle. It’s not listed in your list of items.

For us it was easy because we wanted the reliability of the Honda engine, and the Triplex pump. I have to admit that the pressure ready start is cool but not at the expense of the better engine and pump. The 3600 psi one has always started for me on one or 2 pulls and the extra 200 psi is nice. Really the only thing the pressure ready washer has going for it is the pressure ready electric start. I would recommend the 3600 psi model based on my experience with it.

So far so good. The only issue that bugs me is if you are on a paved surface the vibration when it is running leaves marks on the surface from the rubber feet. A better stronger rubber would be nice but other then that it has been a great machine. Thanks for watching.
Why does it have 2 places to fill oil? (the Grey and Black ports). How do you do the oil change?
Not sure, maybe they are giving you options. lol.
just bought the same pressure washer how many hours after do you change your oil after brand new ?
We had about 5 hours on the initial oil before we changed it.

How much was the turbo nozzle? Did you use any pretreatment for the driveway? If so, what brand. I'm new to this so just want to know all the details.

We used the Simpson turbo nozzle we got from Amazon which was about 25 dollars. We have a linkntonthat in the video description. We also since bought the Dewalt turbo nozzle which seems to work a little better and we got that on ebay for about the same price. As far as pretreatment our job did not require any but when they do we like the Simple Green total outdoor cleaner for pressure washers. I will add a link in the description for you. Hope this helps.
What kind of pressure washer detergent would you recommend?

Hi did you use the complete bag of oil?
Yes, it was just enough to fill it.
So I turned my machine on and it would kind of sputter and then when I turned it off it would make popping noises and a little bit of smoke would come out

Wish I could tell you for sure what it is but cant be sure. It sounds like the choke maybe was still on a little.
comes with a 1/4" x 25' hose NOT a 3/8 hose
Yeah, luckily I already had a 3/8 inch hose. The 1/4 inch hose is good for running through the black corrugated underground drainage pipe to clear it out. You’ll need to order a special nozzle to do that.

Are chemicals necessary for the concrete ?

It all depends on the condition of your concrete. Like a really oily surface might require a acid to clean it better or a surface really moldy might require a cleaner. You have to test a section and see how it works for you before looking at chemicals. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

No it came with pump oil in it. We did change it along with the engine oil at about 5 hours in.
