I have a 7hp version of that motor and I learned a lot from you. I tore my carb apart and it was in worse condition than yours, I didn't replace any gaskets, seals, seats or anything, I just removed as much crud as I could, got the float needle freed up again, stuck some wire through any hole I could find and the dang thing worked! Carry on bro! Cheers, John 😎👍

Another great video guys. When you were trying to seat that part into the carb, I was surprised you didn't use a 3/16" center punch, from the set you mentioned in one of your videos? Also, FWIW, if you ever need some steel, tubes, angle iron, flat, huge washers, etc, try AAA Supply in Schererville. It's across the street from Lowes on Rt.41. That's where I go when I need something odd that I can't find at the big box hardware stores.

Hey Taryl, I have a newer DR vacuum, their is a bracket that mounts on vacuum that just drops in a hole to swivel with a hook to attack by his chord into hose to keep off the ground and allows hose to be longer so you will not pull off when turning opposite way away from hose.
    Nice find, and great job.
