    Great video, thanks. Where you you recommend in Galicia/cantabria for more mellow longboard surfsup waves?

      In Cantabria I would recommend Playa langre and comillas in Galicia is the Harbour of foz very good on bigger days

      Felipe Cruz thanks! Have you ever surfed in the U.K.? We get some decent stuff waves sometimes but the water is pretty cold most of the year

    Nice vlog!!! I'm planning on going with the van on the north of Spain this August (the last two weeks of it), I know is not the best month but what spots would you suggest? Thankssss ;)

    • @felipecruz603

      Hey Valeria, August is holiday time, means it's packed with people. Especially close to the boardes to France. The further you go west - Asturias or Galicia the more uncrowded waves and spot you will find :)

    Thank you for the tips but couldn't score nothing in Cantabria got super disappointed !!!! Close out beach breaks, expensive and bad food!!! Supermarket food was cheap but restaurants completly disaster!!!!

    • @felipecruz603
      @felipecruz603  Před 5 lety

      hey felipe, don´t know where you´ve been, but normaly there are not much beaches wich have close out wves, but it also depends on the swell direction. and normally when you go to the local restaurants, the food is very good and cheap. sorry to hear that you´ve had a bad experience

      @@felipecruz603 first week I stayed at Laredo but never surfed there. I drove to Berria and El Brusco but didnt get enought swell for this spots works. second week stayed at Somo I have checked there almost every day of the trip and didnt get one decent surf. I checked Langre wen somo was closing out but waves was closing as well. I drove to Liencres almost everyday and so got some decent waves, my last day at Los Locos got a super fun right breaking at the point over a small slab. Did a 10 days trip and so far 3 days ok waves rest average beach breack. My conclussion is:
      Liencres is the most consistent spot at Cantabria and Los Locos, Isla de Santa Marina and El Brusco can get epic maybe Laredo with the right swell. The place is very beatifull nice nature. The prices compared with Portugal I can say by experience almost double !!! The waves compared with Portugal, not even fair to compare ;)

    • @felipecruz603
      @felipecruz603  Před 5 lety

      yes liencre is a pretty nice spot. very consistent is somo as well, but like you said sometimes it closes out. sorry to hear that you´ve had just 3 days of surfing.
      i always travel bei van or camper, and that for spain and portugal is almost the same(supermarkets, etc.). the cigarets and gasoline is more expensive in protugal ;-)
