What type of equipment did you use for each step of the process? I want to invest in equipment for processing my own thin sections in the future!

Is this operated inside the University or is it operated inside of your private home?

What would be your estimated average time to completion of a thin section from raw sample to finished slide?

For polished sections and including pre-epoxying I'd say it takes about 5.5 hrs total to finish a batch of 4 samples. Cure time is a large part of it too (1/2 hour to cure each time, for pre-epoxying and epoxying to slide). So a little over an hour for a single sample on average.
