All I can say is "The Blood"!!! Hallelujah! they are so maddening and talented with their voices!! I don't care if they came in with piercings, tattoos and sunglasses. God looks on the heart. People get distracted with the least obvious things. God is concerned with the most obvious which is the heart. Praise God for James Hall!!! I miss your hypnotic anointed music!!! lol!!! It's so exciting and refreshing to hear an artists heart and soul.

If their way of celebrating God is with suits and sunglasses, instead of judging their apparel, maybe you should be more concerned with how they are treating one another as brothers in the gospel. In fact, according to Jesus, you should first be worried about how YOU are treating people. You have a long way to go before you could get to criticizing sunglasses. But you've been trained to think that "praising God" only means looking a certain way because that's what church does.
@couturesixfour How do you make that statement music is music theory and and technique is just that as well.... You cant make excuses for horrible singing.. Gospel music is NOTORIOUS for not presenting the correct usage of the voice.. And until the art of singing is taken seriously you will have performances such as this. And no offense to anyone here but who dont know music encourage this type of singing.. And choir members are in a state of shock when they have no voice after three years.
You show respect for God by obeying his commandments and living a life that is pleasing to him, not by whether or not you have shades on. Next thing you will be telling us that it's disrespectful to God to wear a white suit after Labor day. Those are SOCIAL constructions, not worship toward God.

Praise in the Bible was a time of CELEBRATION of what God had done for his people, and who he was. It was a very festive time, and getting dressed up isn't about wearing a "uniform" to praise God, particularly since praise is a lifestyle. It's about being jubilant over God's blessings.
