Does this work with Leap Motion 2 as well? I got mine in the mail, and I tried it, but I couldn't get it to work. At least not with the VSeeFace that I had installed currently.
Another thing, does the camera ALWAYS show on your avatar chest-? I feel it'd be a bit awkward for that part to be showing up in recordings and streams, right-?

Got any idea why moving my arms up pushes my model back? I dunno how to prevent it. Do models need to be rigged a special way just _for_ Veeseeface or does it not matter? (My model is originally made for VRChat)
That's new to me. But even I find that odd. Try changing the sensitivity in the setting

is this device better then handtracking software programs that use a webcam to track? am curious :) i use a dds bodytracker2 app to track my arms and hands and tbh the fingers are very janky.
This device does a great job with fingers, since the camera gets a full view of your hands. But I've never used a body tracker to compare
Hmm, maybe vseeface or ultraleap had an update, it worked right away for me, didn't have to uninstall and reinstall anything
I noticed as I was trying this out that the leapmotion I have has 2 balls of lite on either side of the screen. They didn't show up initially, but now they're not going away. I've been assuming it was due to my hardware limitations, but the issue persists and I can't solve it. I assume it's broken now?
When you say 'screen', do you mean on the leap motion device screen? Mine lights up when it's plugged in too so that's normal
@@NinjaDee When I pop up the software, both the left and right side has bright lights on both sides and I can only see down the center. But I'm having trouble getting it to work period. Maybe just my lack of experience, but I've been having some trouble trying to get it to work for Vseeface

Connect the leap motion to a webcam? You don't need to. The leap motion has a camera in it that's purely for hand tracking

only thing bugging me is trying to use it and the arms just sticks up all stiff and has no motion like a normal arm can do?
Is the placement type of the leap motion correct?
I bought your 3d printed clip on your website & downloaded leapmotion but its not picking it up- do i need to buy the leapmotion controller?
Yes, the 3D printed clip is just to hold the leapmotion device to your shirt.
I got nervous when I saw that there was a Leap Motion 2 - 'sequel' hardware / software has always set me on edge coz I expect it to somehow be incompatible with stuff and I've only ever heard 'Leap Motion' when talking about this, so in my head that registers as 'Leap Motion 1'. The link goes to the Leap Motion 2 tho, so I figure that means it works with VSeeFace, right?
Sorry if this comes off as dumb. Just trying to be *absolutely* certain that I'm getting the right thing before I buy.
I would assume it will work- they no longer sell the LM1 on their website so my link auto did that. I personally have not played with the LM2 though.
I followed the steps and still can't get the Leap Motion to work with V See Face. It gives me the visualizer from Gemini and shows my hands but isn't doing anything in vseeface after turning the setting on.
That's really odd; I'm assuming your VSF is up to date?
Try plugging it into a different USB outlet. If that doesn't work, I'd contact the creator of VSF
@@NinjaDee everything is up to date I even tried using the Legacy version of both applications to see if that would work but still wouldn’t work with VseeFace. Really odd
how do you get it to be head mounted or neck mounted? I have the new leapmotion and have no idea how that would work LOL
You need to buy a head mount. I sell shirt clips for the LM so you can attach it to your shirt, my store is in the video description

Does your computer detect the leap motion device? All the software has been installed and updated? I would uninstall and reinstall vseeface after LM software has been updated

@@NinjaDee there only one issue. Vseeface does not recognize my hand movement or anything like that so I am sure I need a leap motion controller. Is there any other way without one? I tried the settings leap settings and still no response. Is there another way besides these two ways?

@@NinjaDee thanks. There one issue I need help getting fixed and I cannot find a fix to this either. My Vtuber cuts off at the bottom of the screen. I even hid the taskbar and it still cuts off I do not know how to fix this issue. Do you know how to fix this? And a blue bar across bottom of screen shows. So how to fix it so the Vtuber is like yours and not cut off at the bottom of the screen and maybe a fix for the blue bar showing at bottom of the screen?
Can this software be used with oculus sensors?
I do not believe so, it's only for the leap motion device
Is there a way without leap motion ? or with camera?
There is another program called Vmagicmirror. It tracks your keyboard so it looks like you're typing; but that's it.
If you want mouth/face tracking, you must have a webcam. And if you want free hand tracking, to show waving and fingers, you need a leap motion.
why the leap motion doesn't track in my Vseeface :(
Delete your current version of VSeeFace, and then reinstall it. There was a post on the VSeeFace website explaining you need to do so for the latest Leap Motion software update.
How do you get the cord long enough? Why do you uninstall Vseeface?
My PC is next to me; but check online and see if you can buy a longer cord.
I don't uninstall VSF.
@@NinjaDee yeah my cord is only like a foot long and I move a lot so I'd need like 2 or 3 foot long extension. 🤔 Wasn't sure you'd answer as you haven't been posting or streaming so I really appreciate you getting back to me

You got to pick where it got installed so it may not be there; I would try searching the name in your windows search bar

It's the regular leap motion controller, the silver rectangle with a black screen
just put it one the desk and rotate to the correct position
Mine software just crashes, which is rather upsetting.
You'll have to check the PC requirements to run both softwares
First of all I like your voice. Second, my driver doesnt have the "Open visualizer" and when I see my hands in the control panel, it doesnt actually show the tracking stuff in my hands, i just see my regular hands
