Pay no mind to the trolls, Randy. You are by far the most ethical hunter on TV (CZcams). I'm just getting back in to hunting after a 14 year drought. Watching your videos has inspired me to pursue my dreams of hunting the great American west. Blessings upon you!

Thank you. Yes, always some how will make comments behind an anonymous keyboard that they would never say to my face. Such comes with the territory of trying to advocate for your community and lifestyle. Thanks for watching and blessings upon you, also.

Mr. Newberg, your hunts are a pleasure to watch. Great attitude toward your query and fellow hunters. As we say it here "hunters blessing to the successful hunter". Greetings from a fellow European hunter.

Love your videos Randy. I live in AZ and have given up big game hunting out here because opening day is like the Mint 400 with buggies and ATVs zooming all over the countryside and a total lack of respect.

Thank you for doing what you do. Your videos show all of the ups and downs of hunting... and the fact that you do it all on public land its even more relatable for me. I bowhunt in SE Minnesota and it can be a real challenge. thanks again!

As a hunter, pulling shots is difficult to deal with and is something we never want to do. Always keep in mind however, that a wild animal has no good way to die, except by the hands of a hunter. That shot is still far more ethical than getting eaten alive by a mountain lion, dying slowly from a disease, hypothermia, drowning, bleeding out from a battle wound, starving, or getting hit by a car.

Randy, this is great! I got my first pronghorn buck last year in New Mexico and it was one of the most fun hunts I've ever done. Glad you do what you do. Keep up the great work.

Road hunters... Grrrrrr... What to say... They really chap my hide. Tracked a rag horn in 6b for two hours only to chase it to a road hunter that shot it out of his truck with a pistol! Didn't even get out till after the deed was done. So I did the best thing I could and gave his vehicle description and plate number to G&F.

Hunting ethics is very important. However, there’ll always be those who feel they are an exception to any rules, legal or ethically. But you got the buck anyway and being an ethical hunter paid off. Great buck!

If I was only interested in antelope and no other species, the easy answer is Wyoming. Thanks for watching.

  • @tlloyd9325

I hunted Wyoming one year and there were a group of, well I won’t say what I’d like to call them, guys that just chased antelope for the fun of it! Angry was beyond what I was feeling. We finally spotted a group with a nice buck these guys couldn’t see. We got to within 300 yards but the famous Wyoming winds were howling. I calculated in my head what I needed to do. I made the shot and they took off into a little wash, only the buck didn’t come out the other side. It wound up my best ever. A huge dose of karma was laid upon them and me! Sure makes you angry though to see anyone harass animals for fun.

I think the public land name has poisoned the minds of a lot of hunters, and you said it perfectly, it’s legal and everyone has the right but not everything that’s legal is the right thing to do. Even in my home state of PA, you’ll go in an 45 minutes to an hour before daylight and right at first light some people will walk in and set up 75 yards away right in plain sight. Legal, but very disrespectful. Love your hunts and ethics, keep it up!

    Randy,
I love your hunts, your passion for the outdoors and your advocacy for conservation. The only problem I have, is that whomever is making these videos is dubbing in constant bird chirping. It's superbly annoying.
Maybe no one else notices, unless they're binge watching like I am right now, but it gets real old real fast.
Please, please stop adding in unnecessary, background ambient noise. Your videography and narration are just fine by themselves.

+Joe Dirte - Hmm. I asked the editors. They do not hear it. They say nothing is in the audio tracks that would cause it. I just listened to a bunch of clips. I don't hear it. Sorry you are picking it up. First comment we have ever heard of it. Best of luck in 2016.

Randy, listen at 5:35-5:55. A single bird sound clip looped numerous times. It's in all of the recently posted videos, the same sound over and over.
