Good guide. Hyperbloom was my choice for side 2 as well, but ran Alhaitham instead of Kirara, and am stuck at the 12-3 boss. First side, I think I should get a shield too. Was running Ayato, Raiden, Kazuha, and Kokomi (to out heal instead of shielding). No trouble clearing the first side.
My AR58 account is just good enough to squeak by with 9* (still takes me multiple runs, which is fine by me). 1st side: Modified Kokomi Taser (Kokomi - Yelan - Fischl (c4) - Kazuha) (Yelan is more helpful than Beidou for Icewind Suite and those two electro spectres in 2nd chamber) 2nd side: Raiden National (Raiden - Bennett - Xiangling (c6) - Xingqiu (c6)) I go hard on 1st chamber, write off 2nd chamber and gather energy for 3rd chamber Then I run it back with energy for 2nd chamber (which I found hardest of the three). I appreciate that the mobs aren't invulnerable 1/3 of the time, compared to the prevoius abyss :3
Going back to the boss on 2nd chamber - 2nd half, I forgot to mention why the RNG can be annoying. In the first phase, if it does that move where it flies up and crashes down, it can be annoying for melee teams since you can't hit it for a few seconds. The other annoying RNG part is when it summons the 4 mech enemies, because the ring can spawn on any of them. If it goes to the snake-like mech, those ones can dig underground and cannot be damaged until they resurface, again, super annoying and can be a waste of time. I would just reset if the RNG becomes that bad.
Diona is a shielder, although she has one of the weakest shields because she gives up shield strength due to the fact she also heals. Her shield is better than Noelle's though, strictly speaking for shield support roles. If you need more shields out of Diona, try to give her a Sacrificial Bow (4 star weapon from Gacha) if you have it, since Diona can quite reliably trigger the recharge effect because her skill hits multiple times (I think 3-5?). You can also stack another defensive ability including Xingqiu's skill, Beidou's burst, or Dehya's skill: this abyss easily deals more damage to you than the previous Abyss.
I tried breaking the shield with plunge attacks, but I had enough subdps hits going on (xingqiu burst plus xiangling burst) that I found it faster just to smash through it with attacks lol (Edit: It was Overloaded reactions from Xiangling + Raiden which really did it for me)

Congrats on beating the Spiral Abyss consistently!
Yes please do another vid on floor 11
Maybe!

Even with that, its not nearly as bad as the Wenut or the Serpent Spine. I'll take this guy over them any day.
Does Diona count as a shielder? She’s like the only built one for me besides Noelle 😭

Pretty much what the commenter said! I'd definitely try to get another one in a future banner if you can!
Idk why whenever i fight the final boss the shield is always up
Bring a polearm, sword or claymore user. Plunge attack him until his shield is broken and then start your team rotation.

@@elindred Awesome. Geo attacks are a major help as well.
🙈🙉🙊
Now you can do Spiral Abyss
@@calamitygenshinimpact1255 or some kind benevolent God Gamer could do it for me
