    "Cars that make you feel happy to be alive." I can resonate with that. Actually, I can resonate with everything in this. Henry's writing has always had that effect. So glad that you can hear how raucus the car sounds from the interior A-roll

    Beautiful end to the series. Didn't see that coming! So now here's the choice: this 330 LMB, a Singer 911 or an Eagle E-type?

    • @maxheeschter3009
      @maxheeschter3009 Před 3 lety +19

      I'm a bit of a sucker for the Eagle (although I'm from Porsche country), but in the end, it's more an "and" and not an "or" between those three...

    It’s a work of art. As simple as that. Any issues with it not being an original Ferrari are put to one side because it’s better than an original. It’s fantastic that there are people with the skill and dedication to be able to make cars like this. Just wonderful.

  • @Monkey80llx
    @Monkey80llx Před 3 lety +2

    Just try and imagine a road test and review, of a currently available supercar/prestige GT car, where the car has panels cut out of and added on to it, as an 'after thought' solution, welding that looks like it was done by a blind person and steering that is vague and requires 'learning'.....but that also puts a permanent smile on the reviewers face and performance figures that they 'just don't care' about! What an interesting contrast to the obsession with 0-60 times and need for the driving experience to feel so clinical that we have nowadays!
    I don't think comments on the quality of the car or the video are needed. 🏆

      really sad that the history of a car, especially that of a 330 (in itself is quite rare), is erased to replicate a different car. same way GTO engineering modifies 250 GTs and 330s to "revive" an SWB. well to each their own.

    Modern Supercars are like MP3's. They're quick, convenient, and basically do everything well. There is something to be said though, of the vinyl experience a classic supercar offers. The experience may have some distortion, but there is a charm in the simplicity and elegance of the technology that cannot be replicated by modern means. And for that reason I lust after a vinyl supercar experience.

    The 330 LMB looks so much like a mashup between the 250 Lusso, which arrived the year before, and the 250 GTO. People rave about the Lusso's styling, but I've never been much of a fan. This is a fabulous car but I prefer the looks of the GTO, including the 1964 version.

    What a lovely car. What did not become clear to me is what part was original Ferrari. Was there a body or chassis with a serial number? Many things got mentioned as one-off MTO. And this drives me to the question: "How do you get such a car road legal so it gets a license plate and can be insured? In the UK." That's not a money thing, but defines the difference between allowed on race tracks only or being road legal.
    I get the impression that e.g. US law is strict in a lot of ways, but there are kit cars and restomods all over the place there. That seems illegal in my country. If the car is an "original" with a type certification, there should not be a problem. Or else you are in big [...].
