I was made aware today of an acquaintance whose female had a puppy with mild clef palate. The parents are full frenchies. The owners have said that they may put the puppy down if she doesn’t nurse well. I freaked and said I would take the puppy. I don’t have animal experience with this, I have been a human nurse for 43 years. I just can’t imagine putting the puppy down without giving her a chance. I live in Ohio. I have a long time vet for my dog and cats, but was wondering if there were any publications or on line sources I could turn to, if they surrender the puppy to me. How can anyone even consider euthanasia when she is only one day old. Any help or advice you can give me is so much appreciated. Prayers too.

I hope u get her! Honestly that’s so cruel, breeding full breeds and literally throwing away the ones who don’t meet the “standard”. Please fight for her! My grandpa was able to save my dog as a puppy, couldn’t nurse due to a hole in her throat, but she lived about ten years. I would have lost out on that wonderful puppy if my grandpa (a retired doctor!) hadn’t made the effort. I hope you can save that beautiful dog child ❤

So basically what is happening is that this channel is getting the donations, not the actual rescues that take these dogs in. That explains a lot to me. I've asked several questions and no one has ever responded back to me. It's time to unsubscribe from this fraudulent channel.
