Other than working hours, reading of more books, medical literature and writing scientific papers is also good. It may not contribute towards earning but is contribution for the profession. If we look at that then very little time is left for exercises, sleep and family.
    So what about that?

totally agree with you, everything comes with a cost and sacrifice. As i mentioned in my previous comment, all depends on those 3 points. what you want from life ? what makes you happy ? and what is enough for you ?

Love that you addressed this topic Dr Mishra! But do you have any business ideas that are suitable for docs?

the ideas and strategies have to be thought about considering the individual´s strength and the Unfair Advantage that they might have. I can try to make video about 5 Businesses suitable for doctors, however I am thinking about developing this subject of Business Development on another place, eg. FB group and Instagram, may be a new youtube channel.

On one side we appreciate work life balance of Germany and on another side, we again want to spend post working hours in part time work.??

thanks for your comment, you have raised a very significant critique, on one side people complain for wanting more work-life balance and on other side people like me, indicate that something more can be done in the free time. I believe a response to it can be more nuanced and is subjective. It hugely depends on 1) what one wants from life, 2) what makes them happy and 3) what is ENOUGH for them. I really appreciate the importance of free time ,the work culture in Germany offers, but then it also provides an opportunity for the motivated who want to do something more than selling their time and skills to the employer. I am not a promoter of the GRIND or the Toxic-Hustle Culture. But at the same time, I also believe people who are interested in building something for themselves and their family, they should not be shy or apologetic about it.

@@docdeemishra I agree Dr Mishra. And your point about financial freedom at least partially, through part time works, investments etc can free a doctor and then we can care for patients out of empathy and knowledge and not merely for livelihood. However this can create lot of demand on time and attention, and it's worth learning how to effectively manage this. Kudos to your efforts.
