Just a little fyi- professional level gear has no branding and is blacked out to avoid reflections throwing off lighting or branding showing up in frame. This shotgun mic won’t work as well for your indoor setup, the short version will cut down on reverb/ room noise/ echo. And bonus, there’s a much better Comica setup for XLR to camera/ phone.
Bonus bonus, Sony cameras have a kind of “auto gain” built in, set your camera audio level to 3 then adjust your gain at the interface.
Thanks for the heads up. What Comica setup are you mentioning? I tried the Comica AD2 and it kind of sucked and kept on stop working. And thanks for the other input.
@@RoyFlorez oh man it was the AD unit. I got the single input many years ago and it worked great until I sold it a couple years ago for a dedicated field recorder (the Zoom h6 Black, which I sold last year for a Zoom F3). If you ever decide to swap the Saramonic out for something rechargeable with better mounting options there’s a lot of good budget options for your type of setup. Please feel free to hit me up.
