- Having trouble deciding which Samsung Galaxy Watch4 to buy? Should you get the Watch 4 Classic or the regular Watch 4? Concerned about battery life? In this detailed comparison I look at the 40mm and 44mm watch 4 and the 42mm and 46mm Watch 4 Classic models. I also run battery tests on all 4 models to see which model is best.
This helped a lot, especially the battery usage chart, thanks so much for making this video! Keep up the great work Lief!
I got the regular Watch4 44mm. I personally prefer its sleek and more futuristic vibe.
Not to mention that for those who workout frequently, the lighter the watch the better.
Battery lasts 2 days, give or take, and I lift weights and run 4x per week with Always On Display turned on.
Thank you so much for the battery comparison! I have been looking all over for the battery comparison between the 42 and 46mm and your video really helped! Thanks!
Best video about Galaxy watches with information no one has covered so far. Thank you .
Great video. Straight to the point and intuitive in topic section. This channel is going places.
Even after more than a year of release, this was the best video I've seen about the Galaxy Watch 4 so far. And I've watched a few the last few days. 😄 Thanks for that! 👍🏼
Best video on CZcams about battery test for watch 4. Looked a lot for something like this, like and signed up immediately! 👍
I'm Brazilian, thank you very much for the video. It was the most complete and accurate I've seen.
Love the battery usage data. Great job.
Thank you so much for this video. This has really helped me decide on which watch to choose. I've been looking into the smaller and larger versions of the regular Watch 4 and the circumference of my wrist is about 17+ cm. The recommendation is that people with a wrist if up to 17 cm go with the smaller one and people with a wrist of 18 cm and above go with the larger one, so I kinda fall in between those two, and truth to be told, the larger one looks on me just like it looks on you - a bit on the larger side, but at the same time, I definitely like the larger screen better. Now that I know how much better the battery life is on the larger version (in an official Samsung store they told me it's the same), that pretty much sealed the deal. The only consideration is that in about a month or so, the Watch 5 will be released, but then again, the Watch 4 is quite affordable right now and I've never owned a smart watch before, so waiting for the latest one and paying an exorbitant amount of money seems like a silly experiment right now...
you may want to wait to buy the Watch 4 since the price may get lower after the watch 5 release....
@7:13 thank you for mentioning the differences about the colors of the classic version
WOW excellent comparison, I am looking at getting a Samsung watch and your video is amazing. Great real-life info. Thank you so much
What a great channel! You should keep going!😊
This is the best video about GW4🎉
Great content and very helpful for making my decision which Watch 4 to get ✨
Awesome!
Can you make a similar comparisom including Watch 5 models and how the battery compares to last year models?
I haven't picked one yet, but that was helpful, thanks!
Brilliant comparison, thank you.
I was curious about the battery life.
Your charts have confirmed that the smaller watches are about 40% less
durable. Which is totally in line, because the battery is in fact around
30% smaller. Seems like the screen has the least impact and the
endurance is almost linear if you check the numbers...
247 mAh vs 361 mAh. 32%
Always on Display and 4 mile run is 39% difference. I'm sure its not 1:1
usage, but damn. With the sensors and readings on you definitely need
the 44 mm variant.
Most likely we need Watch 5 with close to 300 mAh for 40 mm to be viable for
many.
Good graphs, couldn't find any battery benchmarks anywhere. Up to 40%
difference, yet the watches are nearly the same size physically. Too noticeable to ignore for your purchase.
Thanks, really good video to decide which version should i buy
Very informative. Thank you so much. Soon will update which one I bought...
Thank You For making this Video 👍✋
Great content, very helpful! Thank you!
Good video ,thanks. What size is your wrist ?
All of them seems really good
This really helped, thanks!
Very informative. Thank you for sharing. Be safe.
Can I set/make the watch track and alert me live by the followings during workout session: - High heart rate notification, - set heart rate range notification min-max values, - set pace alert, - set duration, distance, pace, etc?
Same for biking, etc.
Like in a cheap fitness band like Xiaomi Mi Band 4-5-6 etc
Thank you for your answer!
Keep up the good job!!!
Hai, do u have any screen burn-in / Image retention issue when using AOD
Interested in the watch 4
You may include what is the since of your wrist for the viewer to have an idea of what is a "small wrist" for you
Thanks, helped me a lot :)
Thank you very useful informative video.
Bro if colour stylish always on display is on 24/7 on galaxy watch 4 44mm what is battery time because i just want this watch for always on display???
This video is so helpful😭
planning to Galaxy Watch 4 44mm
From Singapore thank you
Great video 👍😃
Great vid mate.. Just what's needed without the CZcams "I'm a celebrity" Bloat.
excellent video
Great video, thnx
very very very nice video
I own the regular watch 4 but for black friday Walmart has the classic on sale for only 150 so I picked one up . Initially I hated how much heavier it was then the regular watch 4 but after a few days I LOVE it. It looks like I'm wearing a classy expensive watch. The screen Is more protected and on the regular watch 4 you can see the large bezel around the display where the classic hides it under the rotating bezel. If money isn't an issue or you can get it for 150 from Walmart go for it. You will love it
I want the bezel but 46mm is too big....why cant samsung just give bezel in various size options?
Are you getting push notifications and using the phone hardcore? I have the watch 3 and I get 18hrs. Using it properly in an office business setting where I am taking calls using G-Voice, and replying to messages. I am sure it would last long if I just did nothing all day, but why would I do nothing all day?
So hard to choose! My wrist is 16.5cm and the 44 might be a bit to big but the 40 looks so small.
My current analog watch is 42 which is perfect but I don't want the classic which to me looks outdated.
I wouldn't say it looks outdated, I would say it looks more professional is anything
Doesnt look outdated instead its useful and looks classic + smart watch at same time
Yes outdated
Which one did you get finally? 40 or 44?
40mm isn't small lol
I have small wrists too, slightly bigger than yours and 40mm looks perfectly fine, but it's personal preference
Hence subscribed
i got a 42mm classic one, and i will charge it in every night so it will be alright for me in battery life. 42mm look more fashionable than 46mm
Hello how is ur experience with it after a usage?
Wrist size plz??
Is 15 cm wrist alright for watch classic 42mm
quality video. like like like thx bro
Is the size difference between 44mm regular and 42mm classic significant ?
Yes
good video
i recently got my galaxy watch 4 classic 44mm LTE and in my experience the batterylife is more than enough by simply tossing it on charge for a coupple minutes at a time whenever its practical for me to do so. i have my always on display turned on whenever i feel like it, I keep wifi and LTE on automatic, health sensors on 24/7 and i wear it to sleep every night. my previous watch active 2 was marginally better when it comes to batterylife, but a bit of forward thinking really sovles that issue in my case. I wish i got the bigger screen tho, but ohwell
I think u mean 46 mm
@@EspionageTV I think he mean the 42mm because he in the end says "I wish i got the bigger screen tho, but ohwell", and there is no screen bigger than the 46mm watch.
0:49 Indeed they are. This generation should be called Watch3, after all, there was the Active and Active2 and then Watch and Watch3, which should have been Watch2.
make a different thumbnail. I almost skipped this good video because of it
Yeah! I totally shouldve got the 44mm.... I feel like i totally wasted my money! Samsung making these horrible descisions. Just put the 350mah in all of them. Smh.
coming from someone who last had a watch in 2016 hearing about devices that can all EASILY get a full day use, as in literally 16-18 hours, i mean come on guys haha. Are you really sleeping with a watch on?
A good smart watch with a nice screen and good functionality.. which you can’t use if you need it longer than 4 hours.. what a joke😊
I own the Galaxy 4 watch. First thing I have to say is (GARBAGE)! Don't waste your money all these nice features that you can not use because battery life SUCKS. For you to make it through the day you have to turn everything off. Yesterday I went for a 6 hour bike ride using my ear bud's and the watch was Dead. For a sport watch don't waste your money . If you go for a swim in the pool and the watch doesn't work samsung will not warranty the watch. Check all the complaints on swimming 🏊 issues. Good Luck
Which size did you get, and did it get any better with updates?
@@rachelking2371 44mm LTE with the new update it last 1day 15 hours with battery saver on and nothing on.
rubbish
Galaxy watch 4 is garbage don't waste your money.
