- In July 2023, the iconic Clockwork Orange celebrated its remarkable 30th anniversary with an unforgettable event at Recinto Ferial, Ibiza. This milestone was marked with a series of day and night parties across the island from the 19th to the 24th of July.
Clockstock Part 1 commenced on Friday the 21st, featuring the crème de la crème of Clockwork DJs, who took over the decks at the renowned Cova Santa. The energy and excitement were palpable as partygoers danced the day away to the beats of their favorite DJs.
As the sun set, the festivities escalated to a whole new level at the enchanting Es Paradis in San Antonio. With its picturesque setting and vibrant atmosphere, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary night of celebration.
But the revelry didn't stop there. The weekend's highlight was yet to come at the brand new Recinto de Ferial venue, situated near Ibiza Town, for Clockstock Part 2. The event showcased Clockwork's 30 Piece Classical Orchestra, leading the lineup alongside a diverse array of talented singers, DJs, and performers. Attendees were treated to an extraordinary fusion of classical music and electronic beats, a truly unique experience that set the night on fire.
Throughout the weekend, surprises were aplenty, with unexpected performances and special moments adding to the magic of Clockwork Orange's 30th-anniversary celebration.
For anyone seeking the ultimate Ibiza experience in 2023, this was the weekend to be there. The legendary Clockwork Orange proved once again why it holds a special place in the hearts of partygoers worldwide, as it continues to be a beacon of music, celebration, and camaraderie.

First club I went to in Ibiza in 94 was unreal. Tony de Vit, Judge Jules, Alex P & Brandon Block, Jeremy Healy, Tall Paul having the best times. Such a great place, smiling faces everywhere 😊
Clockwork and Es Paradis blew my mind back in August 1999.
I remember queuing and meeting Danny Clockwork on the way in, after seeing him the year before on the Sky Documentary ‘Ibiza Uncovered’.
Tall Paul, Boy George and Andy Manston (then resident) were on the lineup. I still have the flyer(s) from the island of that event, my ticket (a soggy mess of dried paper now) and some amazing memories. It was also the night I had my first E. I was 16 at the time and I remember walking back with friends to the Bay and I couldn’t believe what I’d been a part of and what I’d felt that night.
Highlight of the night was the hydraulic roof opening at 5am to Funkstar Deluxe Vs Bob Marley - Sun is Shining

I went to Ibiza in 2002 for the first time. The trip changed my life especially as an American. We went back in 2003 and went to Es Paradis for Junior Jack and Kid Creme. May have been 20 years to this date actually. I still have the flyer at my parents house. 2003 was the greatest trip of my life. I definitely left part of my soul there. Went back in 2007 and 2012. God willing I'll be back.sometime soon to relive the greatest time of my life

My first experience of a club in Ibiza was in 1998 in Es Paradis with my husband. Such a beautiful club and I remember the water coming on and dancing to singing in the rain. We have been all over the island since then over the last 25 years bringing our 3 children to experience the beauty. But 3 weeks ago we came back to celebrate Neil's 50th birthday and had the most amazing week clubbing at Pacha, Eden and Pikes. Back again Sunday and can't wait, absolutely love the place ❤

I first came to the island in 94 ( with a carry bag of vinyl ) I played at Es PARADIS three times a week in 97 and 98. In 2018 Clockwork Orange invites me back to play a Vinyl only night ( 20 years since I had played at Es PARADIS. And then played again for July 20th Vinyl only CLOCKWORK ORANGE as seen on your CZcams film ...Thank you x

I did my very first clockwork orange ibiza this year despite being the very grand old age of 57!!! And it was my first time at Es paradis and the pace blew me away,I walked in and my mouth hit the floor simply amazing.

First time was in 94..... Amazingly back then you could still grab flyers for free nights as Es Paradis and Kaos (Eden) now used to swap promotion nights. Clockwork was huge back then. 😊🍊

Maybe he could do more events like this throughout the season ! Looks amazing and would definitely be popular, just had a look on there website and looks like they just do the same nights each week, would be cool if he introduced and old school night, would much rather listen to old school classic tunes, planning on Coming next September can’t wait !

My first night in ibiza back in 95, I remember Felix don't you want my love. It still reminds me of that night whenever I hear it. Ibiza is a great island and it's why I returned for the next 11 years mainly for the closing parties of which some were awesome such as deep dish @ Pacha. All great memories for a 51 year old.

Es Paradis is so crazy beautiful environment, it's a piece of art like you're partying in a museum. I missed this last summer, cause I didn't know all the clubs well, surely won't miss it next year !

Es paradis was my very 1st clubbing experience on the island.
May 1998, opening party for the island. By far the best looking club back then. I was 18 years old, we were in by 1am. You could hear the faint thud of the beat in the reception, walking up the stairs then BOOOOM, the sound hits you.
Remember turning to my mates and saying “we’ve arrived”.
was on the dance floor until we got kicked out! Only about a dozen of us left, cannot remember what the time was but there was daylight! I remember some that were left in there were PR’ing in the westend for the summer.

Brilliant nights in Es Paradis starting back in 1991 . Also one memorable night in Summum which was an amazing club but when we went back a few years later it was all closed up.

1995 first time in es paradis for clockwork orange beautiful club and dancing in the pristine white art deco style pool when the fountains came on was awe inspiring.....opposite was Kaos(now eden) could get a pass out to go to the Kaos bar/cafe next door for cheaper drinks and a chill........ fantastic times and magic memories

Loved that vlog Dwayne. So many memories of Es Paradis. First visited Ibiza in 1996 and this was the first big club I went to and it blew me away. Had never experienced anything like it before. The big club nights in their at that time were Up Yer Ronson, Kiss FM and Clockwork Orange. What a time to be clubbing in Ibiza with no VIP culture or camera phones. Might be biased but the 90s were a special time. Still love Ibiza but those days were special.

Great blog dwanye, I've just came back from ibiza about a week ago,the guy pepe has got a point about the clubs in the day time,call me old fashioned but when you are back in England and you've been at work Monday to Friday there's nothing better than going out on a night time to a few bars then a club ,yet myself I like to relax in the day by the pool or beach then hit the bars and clubs which to me you enjoy it a lot more,but each to there own

Clockwork at Es Paradis in ‘98 I think was one of my first visits, Danny Gould chasing me round the foyer for a laugh, Jeremy Healey on the decks, great fun. Cream at Amnesia had good memories as well as Judgement Sundays at Eden. Always used to love El Divinio in Ibiza town too

Oh wow! Talk about memories. Es Paradis was the first real Ibiza club I visited, way back in '98. Still so beautiful and I am gutted to miss Clockwork Orange there. Definitely my kind of music. Maybe it's just nostalgia but as good as Ibiza is today, I think it was so much better back then. More variety, a whole lot cheaper and totally unique.
Btw, Pepe is the man. He has seen it all, lived though it and knows what he is talking about. Ibiza's future could be at risk with too many clubs, not enough variety and too much money leaving the Island.

First went to Es Paradis in 92, dont remember much else except for loads of foam lol. Clockwork looked great, old Skool tunes and older crowd less of the "Instagram" kids flexing and pouting.
Regarding the 'Less Instagram kids' argument, I understand and agree with your point. It's important to remember that up until 2010, there were no smartphones available, so social media usage among kids was significantly different. To put that in to context, I was probably around 1 year 6 months old when you first visited Ibiza as I was born peak summer in June! Crazy when you look at it like that
First time was back in ‘09 when I was working there for the summer. I loved how the workers got free passes to all the super clubs. Was the best summer I’ve ever had.

WOW Dwayne that was just WOW WOW WOW the first time i stepped foot in Es Paridis was it think 1997 i was stay8ing at S'Estanyol just in the bay and there was a thing called Club Freesyle (there motto was Everybodys ffree to feel good) a well known tune at the time and one of the Rep deals was an afternoon in es pariis were they actually flooded the dance floor and got photos taken (probs the reason it stands out) but the only suveneer i took home that year was an es parids tee shirt, the next time i went there was in 99 and were pretty out of it and i remember one of my mates saying shall were go up here an sit by the pool, naturally i though wow this place has a pool, only to find there was about 10 pool tables up there and we sat watching people play pool LOL

My favourite time In es paradise was in 1992 they had some top rave djs playing that night like slipmatt and the ratpack playing but dj druid played the best set tune after tune❤

My first nightclub ever in Ibiza was Es Paradis, myself and my friend were only 16 and we used to repeatedly walk by the ticket promotors till we got offered the discount tickets to get in. Think we went there most nights out of our 14 day first ever holiday abroad alone without the parents ha.

Could and should get more popular , especially for those revisiting the island after so many years , nothing like a trip ? down memory lane , same in Holland , a great beach Trance festival, Luminosity where one will find a lot of old skool clubbers on the floor taking in the likes of Lange , Thrillseeker , PVK Ferry corsten and many of others who are guaranteed to play out the old favourites along with the new stuff !
