- Today I'm just explaining future plans for the truck and showing off my "new" trucks. I realize I said I bought 3 trucks I meant to say I bought 2 and a truck bed as well. Hope you all enjoy the videos, I realize they aren't the best but I'm trying to get better.

NEWS: I have sold the blue truck and no longer have any parts for sale.
I have my own little '89 dakota named Shirley, she looks just like that red one, but in even better condition if you'd believe that. Almost no rust or chipped paint whatsoever. I had a '92 back in high school and ever since then I've had such a strong love for these trucks

I’ve got a 95 Dodge dakota with the 5.9l V8 swapped into it. Lowered and with headers. Absolutely love it. I want to buy every dakota I find lol

Cool i used to own a 90 dodge Dakota se regular cab long bed dodge Dakota 2wd it was a nothern Indiana truck it was a very solid truck had a 2.2 litre Chrysler 4cyl and 5spd manual shift transmission and manual windows and it looked good and had almost a perfect interior except the headliner was gone..

Iv got a 1988 and 1994 Dodge Dakots's.
Both Red....one is Red and Black the other is Red and Yellow.
Them 1st gen dakotas are good looking lil trucks

Don’t use undercoating over time it chips and holds moisture underneath but this stuff called cosmoline
grab the power window stuff and put them in your you love it. and by the way your primered gen one looks good just like it is..
another thing if you have a U Pull & Pay around I picked up a full size ram manual transmission for 135 out the door it's a little more beefy, it come with the flywheel clutch pressure but no slave cylinder..it were extra....I even got a 4x4 version for the same..but the odd thing is I've only seen 4 of the SQUARE bodies
out there I have two dakots really nice, one just need paint Dakota on 94, one 92 beautiful black but a couple of dings and a few sets of R/T RIMS.....
I myself am looking for a cab for my RT a tree branch got it a bit.
but the beautiful thing is that the U PULL AND PAY is only a mile and a half away it just opened, so I get first dibs on stuff but I don't need a warehouse full of parts..for my toys.....sorry about the bad deal,on the wrecked one....
Donald Powers thanks for your comments man, I appreciate that someone is interested in these trucks. I recently got rid of the wrecked truck cause I needed the space and the money. I probably should have gotten the power window stuff off of it but manual windows are alright with me.
Nice collection! I love my Dakota’s, I’ve got a 95 4x4 v6 5spd that’s in really good shape. No rust on body or frame, I love it! I’m thinkin about 318 swapping it, any pointers?

Alright for clarification on the blue truck. Things that are for sale are: engine, trans, frame, control arms, axles any body panels (although there aren't many good ones), etc. What isn't available: the entire interior.
If I have a 2WD 4Cyl Auto should I basically get a frame for a 4x4 swap?

took my 96 sport and retro fitted it with 87 front end clip (grille,hood,rad support, and bumper) and the 87 steering column, and to put it nicely I had to make a Franken column, took the 96 bottom end of the main column and put the 87 top on it, I just want to understand why its shorter, could you shed any light by chance
96 bottom of the main steering shaft, i had to splice 2 pieces to make the shaft, sorry.
Nofriend_Nolife __ after 90 the Dakota was a bit longer in order to make room for the V8. I would think that would have something to do with it

The actual entire dash board... Do you still have it?!? Mine got severely cracked when I removed the windshield.
SLC801aviator depends on which truck. But the ones I have are quite cracked as well

Www.car-part.com may have parts for you as well if you cant get what you need off of the other trucks in your fleet. I love your engine swap. I have a 91 extended cab. Im looking to do the v8 swap as well. Looking to use FiTech fuel injection.

Carlos Cruz thanks man. I'd give you the trim that came from my black truck cause it's blue but it's really destroyed. Which is why I'm using all the interior of the blue truck

Scott Woodle they are the 5 spoke 4x4 wheels with Yokohama 235/75/r15 tires that look nearly brand new

Scott Woodle Oh lol sorry those are vision wheels 141 legend series 17x9s. The front tires are sumitomo lsw 245/45/r17 and the rears are Bridgestone dueler 245/55/17s
Know the offset? Just picked up an 89. Like the look of that combo.
Scott Woodle I don't know the offset but the backspacing should give you the same info. The backspacing if these was 5" I believe. Hope this helps

Donovan Shovan after 90 they went to 6 lug I can almost guarantee that both are 6 lug
Nice may still do it if you have one for a decent price. My pinion is rubbing bad on the 95
