WOW Awesome product. It makes it so much easier to get you battery jump with no problem. It is big enough for jumper cables to connect. I purchased battery jumpers with side mount on them and it was unsuccessful couldn't get it to clip on the original side mount bolt. Installation is easy. I hated these side mounts for years and I never seemed to find anything until I saw these and I ordered a couple pair. I know one of my neighbors has a truck with side mount. He will be happy when I show him it and I will even change it for him. Love it.. Thank you.. you made a happy Navy Seabee.

Awesomeness 👊🏻, Nice LT-1 ! I had same issue when hooking up my battery tender on my Firehawk I was never 100% confident with the connection, especially when closing the hood with the battery tender hooked up in the winter time!

Another video said the side posts were made to avoid the gases and acid evaporating or leaking on top of the battery, that cause terminals to corrode.
Still though, they could have designed the side posts much better. Thanks for the video, I'm going to try them

Stainless would be pretty sweet. I will say, I haven't noticed any issues with corrosion on these yet though. Not sure if it's the tendency of side post batteries to resist corrosion at the terminals, the coating, or the covers, but they seem to be holding up quite nicely so far.
