That's why it's important to attend bosti laga cultural functions, student's union programmes, etc where we get to wear our own traditional attires. As long as there exists an equilibrium between other people's culture and ours, there's no harm in experiencing the former.

Nice. It is okay to enjoy other cultures from time to time. And btw, anime is not a Japanese culture. It is an entertainment. But people think it's Japanese culture because animes mostly comes out of Japan. Japanese culture is different. We Nagas have our own festivals in every tribes which are celebrated throughout the year, and other events like Hornbill festival etc, to promote our Naga culture. These events are only for entertainment purposes. And I totally support holding events like this from time to time. Since these events also play the part of popularising Nagaland. The thing is never forget or abandon your roots. Do these only to entertain.
There will be lots of empty chairs in seminars or skill development trainings. Yet these unnecessary festivals attract thousands of youths. Festivals after festivals, yet we complian of no jobs/unemployment. This is the reality of nagas. We are not progressing anytime soon.
