- In the years leading to the inevitable ignition of the Clone Wars, and the subsequent fall of the Galactic Republic, a sense of foreboding grew among the ranks of the Jedi. There was a whisper of unease that darkness was on the rise, a malevolent force potent enough to challenge the very fabric of the galaxy and threaten the existence of the Jedi Order itself. The Jedi High Council, found themselves wrestling with a growing fear amongst their ranks. Despite their efforts to quell these anxieties, individual Jedi felt compelled to seek out solutions to this impending crisis, to find a beacon of hope that might guide them through the encroaching shadows.
Some like Dooku, succumbed to fear and the dark side, hoping to stop the cancerous rot that had enveloped the Republic by aiding the Sith. Others managed their fear through faith alone, not only in the Jedi orders invinsibility but also in the deep-seated belief in the ancient prophecy of the Chosen One, a being destined to bring balance to the Force.
The most notable and significant endeavor to safeguard the future of the Jedi and the Republic was undertaken by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas. Driven by visions of an impending conflict that threatened to engulf the galaxy in chaos, Sifo-Dyas took a bold step by commissioning the creation of the Clone Army on the distant world of Kamino. His aim was clear: to arm the Jedi Order with a fighting chance against the storm that was brewing on the horizon.
However,, there existed another plan to thrawt the dark sides coming rise, and it likely held the potential to seriously challenge Darth Sidious’ coming reign. That being said though, this scheme was highly morally questionable, skirting on the very edge of the dark side it wished to destory. This path was carved by Jedi Master Joris C'baoth, a Jedi who who was so sure of himself he granted himself the rank of master, with the council deeming it best not to argue with him. And Unlike Sifo-Dyas plan, whose actions inadvertently played into the hands of the Sith, C'baoth's strategy offered some hope, a chance to fortify the galaxy against the darkness with the strength and resilience of the Jedi.
In this detailed exploration, we delve into why Joris C'baoth stood as the lone Jedi who might have halted the insidious advance of Sidious and examine the ambitious plan he devised and we also explore how such a plan was hindered by yoda and Mace Windu and ultimately thwarted by Palpatine and a young Thrawn.
But first, I’d like to thank BigBoiPalpatine for suggesting this video. As always, your name will be entered into the VF Saber Dooku giveaway. Be sure to comment your lore questions, what ifs, etc for a chance to have your idea made into a video and to be entered into the giveaway. Anyway let us begin.
Early in his life, C'baoth chose to walk the way of the Jedi Consulars. These guardians of peace favored the mastery of diplomacy over the ways of combat, dedicating themselves to resolving conflicts not with lightsabers but with words and wisdom. C'baoth, with a steadfast belief in the principles of the Galactic Republic, offered his services in various capacities, most notably as a mediator and negotiator in disputes rife with speciesism.
His commitment to peace led him to a critical role within the Demilitarization Observation Group on the Mid Rim planet of Ando, a world abundant in mineral wealth yet plagued by ceaseless conflict among its Aqualish subspecies over mineral rights. It was on this tumultuous conflict that C'baoth's path crossed with an unremarkable senator from the relatively obscure world of Naboo named Palpatine. This meeting marked the beginning of a friendship and professional alliance that would span many years, rooted in a shared enthusiasm for the ExGal Project's bold mission to discover life beyond the confines of the known galaxy.
This collaboration saw C'baoth ascend to become an invaluable advisor to Palpatine on matters pertaining to the Jedi, leveraging his diplomatic acumen to aid the senator's career. Their partnership, however, was not destined to last. In the years leading up to the pivotal Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY, C'baoth was beset by troubling visions of the dark side's growing power. He saw dark clouds gathering over the future of the galaxy, foreseeing a conflict of galactic proportions that would overcome the Republic and the Jedi Order. He shared his forebodings with a young Obi-Wan Kenobi, with a stark warning: "The time is coming when all Jedi will be forced to take up arms against a great threat to the Republic." Disturbed by these premonitions and driven by a sense of duty to the Force, C'baoth made the difficult decision to leave Palpatine's side. He embarked once more on a solitary quest, determined to uncover the source of his ominous visions. - Zábava
Except Palpatine doesn’t have friends, only pawns to use.
As it should be .
Was tarkin his friend?
@@sambo416Tarkin wasn’t a Jedi and no he was still a tool to be used tarkin just tried made himself seem irreplaceable bc tarkin wasn’t dumb he knew what palpatine was he smartly kept his mouth shut
That’s true Anakin Skywalker was nothing more than the pawn on the chessboard that’s kind of funny that pawn ended up destroying the sith order
@@BargerClan technically the sith lived on after palpatine and Vader with darth krayt but that’s legends and with canon having palpatine return that lowkey defeats the whole Vader getting redeemed and destroying the sith bc all it did was set palpatine back a couple centuries but he came back twice during legends and once so far in canon unless they plan do bring him back again even sooner for a dark empire style movie or show but with them bringing thrawn back into canon I doubt they’ll waste any more time on palpatine coming back sooner bc they want to try to explain how its possible that he came back how he did in the first place

Also Title: *Freaking Gandalf is a Jedi. Now the Sith are really screwed XD*
Honestly love the thumbnail for this video.
Think you could make a video on some rare Force Abilities?
Just imagine Gimli with a lightsaber, it would be bigger than him 😂
Like when people are going to fart?
Friend:…..Who is this and why are you calling me
Palpatine: execute order, 66
Friend: Hellllllll NAW you just interrupted me watching Bad Batch S3 Episode 2 BYE
Nah bro Gandalf the gray became a Jedi
The other galaxy was middle earth.
Gandalf the gray ---> gandalf the white ❌️
Gandalf the gray --->gandalf the space wizard ✅️
I was once told that General Grevious's body was rebuilt as a prototype assassin droid. Any chance you would make a video about that?
I think having a video on the reasoning why Jacen Solo fell to the Dark Side, especially focusing on his vision of The Throne of Balance in the Pool of Knowledge of Knowledge.
His desire to prevent that, especially a specific aspect of it was very important to his decisions.
If not that, then the terrorist incidents Lumiya incited in Betrayal on Lorrd, which demonstrated how Jacen and his borderline ruthless pragmatism differed from a more traditional Jedi, like Nelani Dinn who was also present.

“LOL don’t go to the Jedi temple tomorrow”
Love the thumbnail! Awesome pic!
Thank you! Cheers!
@VadersFortress2 the thumbnail reminds me of Dumbledore with a lightsaber lol 😆
@@VadersFortress2Jedi gandalf? Nice pic btw lol
@@tcgly3273reminds me of gandalf the grey
Mace Windu: You are on this council but we do not grant you the rank of master
Anakin: (In Cartman Voice) Screw you guys i'll just grant myself the rank of master like Master C'baoth.
why does he look like Gandalf? Lit, a space wizard!
How about a video comparing ahsoka to starkiller? Both are anakin/Darth vaders successor and it'd be cool to see an in depth comparison of the two
Here's a what if to blow your mind. What if the only reason the rule of two lasted so long is because Darth bane used essence transfer on all his padawans. This would have given him hundreds of years to perfect medichlorian manipulation allowing the creation of the chosen one.
Interesting story. Thank you.
Can you do a video on what if Havoc squad from Star Wars old republic still existed in the clone wars?
C-Bob is like an evil Gandalf.
Hi is there anyway you could source more information about the permafrost crystal as its a qouted myth in the star wars universe and there havent been many weilders of it
Talk about cool and smart lightsaber modification jedis did to their lightsaber
I'm kind of trying to imagine the look on Palpatine's face if the guy decided to tell his good pal Sheev about his ambitious plan.
"... damn, you're so much better at this than I am. I have this whole thing with robots and clones, and now I think I've been trying too hard."
can we get a video on the history Zillo Beasts?
Heck yeah
I Know It's Off Topic But, What If Darth Vader Was In Fact A Perfect Clone Of Anakin Skywalker, With All Of His Memories Up To The Point Of Anakin Being Captured & Cloned?
Didn't realise gandalf was star wars Canon 😂
i would like to hear a story about the rise of the first order
Yeah sith and Jedi's are never used together with the word "friends" it seems like an extremely moronic and ridiculous concept that clearly would never happen
What if Padme followed Anakin into the Tusken raider camp to help save his mother?
What if General Grievous was a pretty petite princess?
Do a video tallying the atrocities of the jedi and the sith to see who were worse
I would love to seen how the vong and the empire would set against em 🤔🤔🤔
What if Revan's light side force ghost didn't subdue his dark side.
eldritch horror laughing if they had reached and tried colonizing areas of the unknown regions
Do you know how many Padawans Yoda has had over the centuries?
I wonder what jorus would have said if he had lived to find out palpatine had him cloned.
There would have been 2 dark empires duking it out. C'baoth was on a very dark path, maybe could have been another Palpatine had things gone just a little different.
For sure. You see a hint of that with his clone in the Legacy series heirs to the Empire
@@DJ-vk4rp Indeed, though that clone was half insane as I recall. I think the original C'baoth might could have rivaled Sidious had Outbound Flight gone differently. Not just anyone could appoint themselves Jedi Master and get the Council to go along with it.
@@kirtmanwaring3629 yes he was Half mad that's for sure
Thinking like yours is why the galaxy fell .
The insignificant inferior beings of the galaxy NEEDED superior beings such as our beloved Emperor Sheeve Palpatine to rule over them .
Sabbioth could have made a fine Sith acolyte , except for his twisted views about the jedi's place in the galaxy .
What if Anakin never turned could he have destroy the sith?
Iam Luke Skywalker
😂
promo sm 😻
C'Baoth isnt canon, and had some pretty problematics views toward non-force users...
