Village of Molyvdoskepasto
It is built on the eastern slopes of Mount Nemertsika, at an altitude of 596m. It is 17 km from Konitsa and just a few hundred meters from Albania. Dipalitsa, as it used to be called, has been a transportation hub and an important economic and administrative center since ancient times. Many of its inhabitants were merchants and emigrated to Moldovlachia and the City.
It experienced many predatory raids, until it was almost completely destroyed by a fierce Turkalavan raid in 1657. In the following years, the new village of today was slowly created. Today, it is a quiet and beautiful village drowned in vegetation, overlooking the valley of Aoos and Sarantaporos. This beautiful coastal settlement is inhabited by 50 people in winter and 200 in summer. The inhabitants are farmers, breeders, producers of tsipouro, makers of homemade sweets and beekeepers.
Unfortunately, today in the settlement we do not find old houses with traditional architecture, because the village was destroyed by the German army in 1943. Twenty churches and chapels are preserved in the village and around it, the most important of which are: the church of the Holy Trinity (12th century) , the church of the Nativity of the Virgin (9th century), the church of Agios Georgios, the ruined church of Agios Dimitrios, the Zoodochos Pigi (1604) and the ruined church of Agios Sozontos (15th century), which dominates a characteristic hill on the highest point of the village.
The church of the Holy Apostles is imposing, located to the west of the village in a nice location with a panoramic view of the valley of Aoos and Sarandaporos, right on the Greek-Albanian border. The probable date of construction of the church is considered to be the year 1537, while there are also references to the 13th century. This is the central church of the village, which used to be the seat of Archbishop Pogonianis until 1857. The temple is cruciform with a dome, with a five-sided niche, a narthex, a covered propylaea and has remarkable frescoes.
In the surrounding area there are several ruined watermills, the last of which operated until the 60s. Also small stone bridges are located within the settlement, at the springs of Agios Georgios and a little beyond the monastery, at the Boroya stream. On June 29 and 30, in celebration of the Synod of the Holy Apostles, patrons of the village, a religious and popular festival is held in the square of Agios Efstathios with the participation of instruments, dance groups, etc.

Είναι κτισμένο στις ανατολικές πλαγιές του όρους Νεμέρτσικα, σε υψόμετρο 596μ. Απέχει 17 χλμ από την Κόνιτσα και μόλις λίγες εκατοντάδες μέτρα από την Αλβανία. Η Διπαλίτσα, όπως ονομαζόταν παλιά, υπήρξε από την αρχαιότητα συγκοινωνιακός κόμβος και σημαντικό οικονομικό και διοικητικό κέντρο. Πολλοί από τους κατοίκους του ήταν έμποροι και αποδημούσαν στη Μολδοβλαχία και την Πόλη.
Γνώρισε πολλές ληστρικές επιδρομές, ώσπου καταστράφηκε σχεδόν ολοκληρωτικά από σφοδρή επιδρομή Τουρκαλαβανών το 1657. Στα μετέπειτα χρόνια δημιουργήθηκε σιγά σιγά το νέο σημερινό χωριό. Σήμερα, είναι ένα ήσυχο και όμορφο χωριουδάκι πνιγμένο στην βλάστηση, που αγναντεύει την κοιλάδα του Αώου και του Σαρανταπόρου. Ο πανέμορφος αυτός ακριτικός οικισμός κατοικείται από 50 άτομα το χειμώνα και 200 το καλοκαίρι. Οι κάτοικοι είναι γεωργοί, κτηνοτρόφοι, παραγωγοί τσίπουρου, παρασκευαστές σπιτικών γλυκών και μελισσοκόμοι.
Δυστυχώς σήμερα στον οικισμό δεν συναντούμε παλιά σπίτια με παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική, διότι το χωριό καταστράφηκε από το γερμανικό στρατό το 1943. Στο χωριό και γύρω από αυτό σώζονται είκοσι εκκλησίες και ξωκλήσια, σημαντικότερες από τις οποίες είναι: ο ναός της Αγίας Τριάδας (12ος αιώνας), ο ναός της Γεννήσεως της Θεοτόκου (9ος αιώνας), ο ναός του Αγίου Γεωργίου, ο ερειπωμένος ναός του Αγίου Δημητρίου, η Ζωοδόχος Πηγή (1604) και ο ερειπωμένος ναός του Αγίου Σώζοντος (15ος αιώνας), που δεσπόζει σε χαρακτηριστικό λόφο στο ψηλότερο σημείο του χωριού.
Επιβλητικός είναι ο ναός των Αγίων Αποστόλων που βρίσκεται στα δυτικά του χωριού σε μια ωραία τοποθεσία με πανοραμική θέα στην κοιλάδα του Αώου και του Σαραντάπορου, ακριβώς στα σύνορα Ελλάδας- Αλβανίας. Πιθανή χρονολογία κτίσης του ναού θεωρείται το έτος 1537, ενώ υπάρχουν και αναφορές για τον 13ο αιώνα. Πρόκειται για την κεντρική εκκλησία του χωριού, η οποία παλιότερα και έως το 1857, ήταν έδρα του αρχιεπισκόπου Πωγωνιανής. Ο ναός είναι σταυροειδής με τρούλο, με πεντάπλευρη κόγχη, νάρθηκα, στεγασμένο προπύλαιο και διαθέτει αξιόλογες τοιχογραφίες.
