Great review! I would also add the story telling style itself (stories with stories and retellings within retellings) was so very unique! It loses me with all the tangents and why some stories are even brought to attention. Not a style I enjoyed, but a beautiful novel none the less. Would consider reading the follow up book. Thanks for your video!

It is a confusing book indeed... I read the audiobook back when I read it, and somehow it worked better for me, the voices were very good.

I totally understand that people might not like it to be fair. The moment you read it and your headspace will also impact it I think. So if you want to try it, to do it at a time that you are open to being triggered and challenged
