- In Thailand they modify these long tail boat motors and race a glorified canoe down the river. It is absolutely crazy how fast they are going. It looks like they’re going 100 km an hour down the river.

Thats an inline 6 cylinder aluminum turbo indirect/direct injection diesel, puts out 5-7 hundred BHP, and about 7-800 foot pounds of torque, payload of 300-500 pounds max of engine weight. That Power rating equals to almost exactly the same at the prop, because barely any is lost to harmonics on a 5,000 rpm redline, when the shaft sits in a pool of dampening fluid.

@randkamza1206 no it's not, again I'll say unburnt fuel is black smoke. So if your burning black smoke it's not tuned properly. Watch Gale Banks if you don't believe me. So no it's not normal, maybe normal for people who don't know what they are doing and think they are cool.
@randkamza1206 you will see alot of black smoke from a diesel pulling truck/tractor but that's because they inject water/alcohol to cool the top of the piston so it won't melt.
