Some commercials taken from an hour of TMNT on FOX Box. Quick note, the date's a Sunday here instead of a Saturday, due to this affiliate technically being for The WB, and as such, FOX Box had to be moved to Sundays to make room for Kids WB. Promos include the Who's Got The Muscle vote, some spots for Ultraman Tiga, The Cramp Twins, and Pirate Islands. There's also a commercial for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire here, and this seems to be the highest quality upload of it (the only upload on YT currently is in 240p), so that's pretty neat. (one more note, I don't have any more FOX Box, since I know someone's going to ask. if I did, I'd post it, aye?)

For people who are confused, Fox Kids, FoxBox and 4Kids ended up on KASW because of a very confusing situation happening in Phoenix TV because of the '94 realignment. Because KSAZ (channel 10) was going to switch from CBS to FOX, that meant they were going to expand local news coverage so they replaced Fox Kids with syndicated programs or/and newscasts. This would cause Fox Kids to move to independent station KTVK and air it in September '94 and continued in '95, even when it was a WB station at that time. When KASW launched in fall of '95, they immediately had the WB affiliation and with that, Fox Kids also aired on KASW and the station would be home to Fox's children's programs from September of 1995 til the cancellation of 4KidsTV in 2008.

That Ultraman Tiga spot is kinda odd because the show's final airing was on March 1st, a month prior, before the show was kinda unceremoniously cancelled out of nowhere. So I guess they just aired the spots for a bit, which to be fair, they were pretty cool.

Yes, in a 4kids press release, they mentioned they were airing the 1 minute Ultraman vinegettes until the fall 2003. The show was apparently supposed to come back for fall 2003 but they went with the uncut dvds instead

I hope you have some commercials of Winter and Spring 1999, early and Spring-Summer 2001 and 2002, and Spring 2000 Kids WB, UPN Kids, and Fox Kids to upload soon.

I don't know why KASW was airing the Fox Box even if it is a WB station instead of Fox station, KASZ. I am starting to think that is ridiculously stupid. KASZ had been affiliated with Fox since the network's launch in 1986.

Actually, KSAZ had affiliated with Fox since December 1994 due to the Fox and New World NFL affiliation switch deal but had been an O&O station outright ever since Fox and News Corp. bought New World and its’ stations in 1997.

Fox Kids and it's successors should've been on KUTP (instead of KASW).

Since I mentioned KASZ a while ago, do you have any commercials on that station? If you do, great. Cant wait to see them.

Why was a WB station airing the Fox Box?

KSAZ, like its’ sister stations owned by New World that switched to Fox as part of their $500 million affiliation deal in the wake of getting the rights to air NFL football, primarily in markets that have an NFL team in the NFC conference,1994, declined to carry Fox Kids AND later Fox Box/4KidsTV.

Some FOX affiliates (KSAZ, KMSP, KDFW etc.) opted not to carry the Saturday morning block 4Kids TV (formerly the FoxBox) since it first launched on September 14, 2002 after replacing FOX Kids on September 7 of that year. Despite having the block aired on Saturdays starting at 8 a.m. Eastern (7 a.m. Central/Pacific), 4Kids TV was carried - as it normally would - by most FOX affiliates, such as KRIV, KTTV, WFXT, WTXF, KTVU, WXIX, WNYW, and others, until December 27, 2008 when FOX would cease operations for its Saturday morning blocks - but not until 2014, when Xploration Station (produced by Steven Rotfield Productions for FOX) began to launch.

Yes. Ever since FOX and News Corp. brought New World and its stations in 1997, 4Kids was not paying for the network’s time lease for a while, so this was mainly due to some of its affiliates who opted not to carry the FoxBox (now 4Kids TV).
