There are lots of muntjac deer all over the UK, even in some urban areas where there is enough cover to hide. They were introduced of course, and are good at hiding from people. They make a barking call, which does give them away at times, and if you are lucky you will spot one. They visit my friends garden regularly and I've spotted them on my dog walks,in my local area, but usually hear the barking call early hours of the morning, and see tracks . They are very good at adapting to many environments and eat a big range of plants, which can make them a bit of nusiance to gardeners and damaging to local Flora and fauna, they breed anytime of the year so spread fast. But I like them 😊
