"Chants of Liberation" is a set of three gothic litanies to liberate the spirit of Man from the temptation of sin and a crooked path of Heresy. The robed priests from the upper sky-dome of the grand Cathedral are uttering the chants of Salvation to cleanse the ones who stray. The metallic saints descend from grey heavens in their return from the conquest across the stars; thier sacred swords and armor blessed by the clerics, ready for the cosmic purging of Sin. The dim light of the candles held by the Ecclesiarch is reflecting upon the Inquistiorial garments through the holy smoke.

This album is partially and indirectly inspired by the fascinating Warhammer 30k/40k universe and lore, especially the mythos of the Imperial Inquistion and their philosophy of Heresy. It may as well serve as a soundtrack when reading the literature/playing the game/praying to the Emperor or pondering about the Grimdark future. Aside from that, it does not represent a direct, straightforward building up upon the lore, and is in no way affiliated with GW and related trademarks.

@@metrobiusofsollkhav3143 I would not reply to this usually, but I am in a certain mood and this comment triggered me into a specific perspective because this is not the first time I hear it. And every time I hear it I'm like "hey man, why even bother to comment / send me a message?". First thing - I am also from Eastern Europe and the situation is not so bad as some of you are claiming it to be. Most of the people here are not some underweight, skinny peasant losers (which someone from the West would assume hearing this "Eastern Europe is hell" mantra all the time). Many are actually overweight, drive regular cars, wear decent clothes and are not just lying on the street, or working in a sewer. What's interesting is that most of the people here who really don't have some decent job constantly complain about money, but then you see them every day in the market buying cigars, coffee, processed sugar "sweets" and other junk all over the place. You have money for a pack of cigars, or a processed-sugar-overpriced-candy which will eventually make you ill and waste you more money, and then you have decency to complain? So maybe you should consider stop painting the wrong picture and use it as an excuse for an emotional blackmail and artificial extortion of sympathy. And if you, personally, think that you'll be "throwing out" the 1 buck by supporting the music and artists you listen to (and they give you the music for free in the first place), then I definitely don't want your 'buck' there.

This is the best WH40K grimdark chanting yet. So many of these are just dark ambient music with generic moaning passed off as "chant", and so this video really fits the bill.

This is quite possibly the most beautiful monk chanting and vocalizing I’ve ever heard. Just phenomenal stuff. There’s no way you’re not buddies with Metatron Omega.

I found this via a video of Lorgar talking to Magnus, a part of this song was playing subtly in the background, making the speech by Lorgar more powerful and alluring. Lorgar was not an impressive Primarch when it comes to combat, but he was never meant to be such, he was mean to be a herald of the Imperium and a bearer of his fathers words… What things could’ve been.
I found this video the exact same way, and now I associate this with Chaos
the tragedy of the imperium is that it was truly built on the most noble of ideals, which is precisely why it failed and fell to ruin. even the Emperor failed to understand the final question of Man, which is 'Why is there Anything, rather than Nothing?'

I'm not familiar with the Warhammer 40K universe/game so don't know what it's really all about, but these tracks by Prometheus Studio for this universe are fantastic. I come from an Orthodox background so know my ancient chants and these fit right in with what ancient ecclesiastical music/chat sound like. Props!

I play these while kitbashing and scratch-building a Knight Titan for the Sororitas. All I could ask for is what the Sisters would chant and the Mechanicum hums while building a truly holy machine to bring the word of the Emperor.
This has helped me study and has helped me concrete to pray to the God Emperor!

There is too much in the world "prove to me", when there should be more "i don't need proof, i can see, feel and believe without it". When a person losts the ability to think clearly and believe, then the concequences will be written into humanity forever. We can't change our destiny, but we can comprehend the past. Our past reflects into our future and our future will be written by our past. We can change only one thing: ourselves. And that creates humanitys future.
