VINCE
Man. The way that implementing this into my workflow has made me less anxious during the recording process is so key as well. I no longer get frustrated thinking about what retaking is going to do to my editing process since, instead of watching every take and wondering "did I do one more after this?" I know I'll just be able to highlight all of the repeated text and delete it. I just got 50lbs lighter. THANK YOU
What a game-changer, THANK YOU Vince!!! Just getting started & still learning the basics of Premiere Pro (your other videos have been VERY helpful too!!), slugged through MANY hours of cutting/editing my first video down to 8 minutes. But NOW, using this, a similar-time video was cut in under an hour...THANK YOU again!!!!!
Moment of silence for my fellow brothers who edit footage in language that adobe doesn't support
Nevertheless, great vid Vince, would have never thought to use it like that!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Wow. What a game changer. Thanks Vince.
Clear, concise, thank you. :)
Thanks for the tutorial. Really helpful!
Great video! Thanks a lot Vince.
This is a really great feature! I’m using it on my next video! Thanks
Holy Cow thats nuts!
I didn't know about this until I saw in in a youtube shorts editing hack video, but I still needed a slowed down tutorial and this was exactly what I needed. The feature isn't perfect, but it feels less cumbersome than slicing all the footage the regular way.
Very informational, thanks for sharing! *liked
Thank you brother! You saved the day hahah woww brilliant stuff
ty very helpful
Educative ❤
This was incredibly helpful for me. Your explanations were clear and easy to follow, and I really appreciated the insights you shared. Keep up the fantastic work! Looking forward to more of your content in the future.
i appreciate your tutorials man
Text based tutorial. Finally (first btw)
Cool feature vince! Wanted to ask what device you use for editing?
Like the Premiere Pro new tools. Just need to run faster lol. Great vid cheers
great vid , what version is this? I am using build 22.6.4 and nothing happens when I press delete?
Hey mate thank you for the tutorial it was very helpful. I was wondering how do I actually find clients so I can sell my editing? I'm just starting out and all I know off is fiverr.
after selecting a specific sentence, how do you save that sub-clip to a bin?
How do you bulk edit out all the breaks/dead space/Um's and OK's in bulk? What if you don't want to do it individually? Microsoft machines can do this why can't Mac?
can you make some how to make short form videos stuff like animations pop up and stuff like that?
plz help does transcribe use cpu or gpu for analysing clip?coz i m thinking of building a pc for premier pro my budget is 2049.80 dollars so i can either build a rtx 4080 pc with low cpu or do u think i should invest in heavy cpu with low gpu like eg i914900k with rtx 4060 for prmier pro plz help
Hi, I had text based editing working fine, now when I try it after editing text and I go to insert adding it to my timeline, it places the whole clip on the timeline and not the edits, is something wrong in my settings??
Im not sure if you mentioned it, but extract, lift, etc will do nothing unless the tracks on the left are selected. Also "automatically set in/out points" must be selected or copy and pasting via selecting text will also do nothing. though it seems like most people figured it out, or aren't actually following along.
watching whole ad just bc of Fawad Khan
Hi! Can I do this on Multicams too?
I’m looking for the same answer.
How do you delete multiple pauses at once instead of clicking each one?
Very interesting. I could see how this would save tons of time. Do you think this might come to DaVinci resolve? I have found DaVinci to be a superior product.
Great tip ! But my Premiere doesn't want to render the text .... stuck always at this feature 🥶
same
So I spent all afternoon editing the transcript. It made no difference to the video on the timeline.
Why would that be?
Is it because I have already created captions before editing the transcript?
when I select a section of text to delete it won't let me. I select, and press delete, and nothing happens. Any tips?
This would be great if Adobe's auto transcribe actually transcribed the audio correctly in real world situations. I spend more time correcting the auto transcribe than actually editing the video. Obviously my purpose for this is subtitles. But even without worrying about correct subtitles, the fact that it gets the words so wrong would make me very leery of using it and trusting it without actually checking the clip itself before copping it, which just makes a whole other step and nullifies the whole process.
Hi. is this also in premiere pro 2022 version?
this is only available from premiere pro 23.4 and up
Do you know why mine is not showing the in and out point when I select something?
because the ''automatically set in/out points'' icon was not selected, thank you bye
I’m not sure why mine is not deleting. It allows me to see the pauses. When I right click and delete, it doesn’t work.
I have the same. Did you find a solution?
@@rfish2I was told I had to wait for the new version to be a available in my area. Finally I was able to install the new version yesterday and text based editing still isn’t working for me. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling.
@@rfish2I found the problem/solution in the community forum. In the newest versions, in the Transcript tab, you should see a {} icon. If it is "on" (just a slightly highlighted background), just selecting text will set in/out points.
Why I cant trancribe script?
Just a warning - this doesn't seem to work on nested sequences. You can transcribe and identify text in nested sequences, but all of the delete/copy/cut options are greyed-out.
i cant delete it the braeks why ?
Why delete is not working for me?
Shitttttttt! Technology..am i right!?
