This morning I had a long list of Adobe updates. I wondered how long before Kelsey would save me the job of exploring the updates, and hey presto, by the end of the day, she had done her usual fast, clear, and concise, update video. The best feature is that proxy update. It was such a pain to have to do all of that manually.
The only update is the dropdown by frame size 1/2, 1/4 etc, but proxy ingest creation was already there :) Just more simplified.

Enhance audio has saved me a time or two in beta but it started getting buggy. Hope this version is better because man it’s pretty impressive. I’m working on a mini doc and switching back and fourth to newer versions make me nervous

I would love Adobe to fix the problem with sequences with multicams. I still have sequences that I play and can’t stop playback until the play head reaches the end of the sequence.
I would love to see a feature that would set "create proxies on import" for every project, not having to do this every time I start a new project.
You can create a project template file with Ingest Proxies already set. Duplicate the project, open it, save as. and use it as a starting point for each project.

Good video! The adobe podcast used to work amazingly when it was announced. Ever since, it’s gotten more robotic. I think adobe used their full computing power for the launch and now reduced it hence the poorer results.

Adobe... You have me hanging on with some great updates. Could you please upgrade some of the Lumetri features? 'Skin smoothing', 'glow' and 'denoising' would be super helpful. And a 'global offset' wheel. I still have to take my projects to DaVinci for those. I don't want to keep taking my projects over to DaVinci to finish them.

Adobe has the proxy workflow completely backwards. What is needed is a workflow that starts with the proxies and then accepts the full res files later.
Color fonts is awesome, it'd be cool if the text was animated.

I have an unrelated question, but in the Sony time-line there are 4 audio tracks. I have the same with log formats. I'm confused which trick I should edit. When adding a sound effect it puts it on all tracks. Adjusting it seperatly doesn't always work. Hope I explained it well. 😉

I purchased Storyblocks and tbh I thought there was more to it 😅 envato elements sounds cool(er) also in comparison to the price vs what you get. So I was wondering if you can help me make a decision which one is more suitable for a beginner 😅
Welcome to the Toolkit fam! :-) I've used both Storyblocks and Elements, and I can say that sometimes I can find more stock video in Storyblocks, but more graphics/fonts in Elements bc we use a lot of stuff for design and video, so if you need design elements too, Envato has more in that department. But they have a lot of the same stock.

I'm sure Submachine will issue an email when their panel will start to work. I currently am using Firecut for captions, a bit more intuitive, less steps, but more expensive and no lifetime option. I've linked to it in my description box if you want to try it out.

I have a Nikon Z9 and when I shoot in the largest format and the highest quality NRAW, it can only read it in davinci resolutions, while Prime cannot, what should I do about it? Can it be exported from davinci in some raw pro res format that is the same Raw or do you have any other better suggestion?

I'm on the M1 Max 64gb ram, 4TB, now Apple makes the M3 Max, so I'd snag that one if I were you. Mine is still solid tho 🙌
M3 is with good features is kinda out of my budget so probably im gonna try to get M2 with good memory and storage less than 2k dollar and im suprise that you use M1, love it that was helpful to see how powerful mbook's are@@PremiereGal
It is nice for Premiere to improve. It has felt so meh for so long. Davinci has easily been gaining on them, so its nice for both to be getting better

any clue about copy and paste - its grayed out. When copying from Multicam to non-multicam sequence
I predominantly use after effects. I use premiere just to chop up clips. I sometimes feel premiere is more relevant. I know you mentioned after effects. But when would you use one or the other ?
Editing is the assemply of clips to tell a story, Ae is used to create some fx that can be added to the Pr assembly :)

Hi there! I noticed that my project freezes when I try to save. They are 4k files, so I am thinking I should use proxies? Will this fix the issue? Thanks for the vids you make, they have been a huge help. - Canada
It could be a codec issue, some codecs work better in premiere pro, one idea would be to make 720p ProRes proxies...but if your computer is pumped up it should handle 4k, so maybe transcoding to ProRes could help even?
There are some terms I have never heard before so you may as well be speaking Greek as far as I'm concerned but I so appreciate this content. I may not understand the terms today but I feel like they'll make sense to me after I dig into your other content. :)
