One bad thing about both Airtel and Jio Fiber is that they don't allow to use personal ONU/ONT (personal router/WiFi). You are locked to using their routers. They don't even allow their routers to operate in bridge mode.
Don't know about BSNL, but local fiber vendors don't have this problem. Please go for local vendors to support them so that Jio and Airtel don't strengthen their duopoly and such malpractices against their customers.
In BSNL FTTH you can indeed use your own ONT/ONU and router but the cost is all on you. But Jio and Airtel does allow using your own Personal Router but not an ONU/ONT, but that's better that way because ONT/ONU units are crap in India, the good ones are not here, but airtel and jio does have some kind of partnership with good ones. To use your own router with Airtel or Jio ONU/ONT, just connect the lan to the WAN port of your new router, then configure dynamic IP then that's it, now configure your personal router however you want, you can also disable wifi of your Airtel or Jio router to completely take it out of the public. You may also connect multiple routers to extend range or do crazy customization in your network.
I have been using BSNL in the bridge model for almost 2 years. The only issue I'm facing is VOIP doesn't work using Bridge mode.
@@antonyjr.devlogs5957 This introduces Double NAT issue. Not recommended for Gaming purposes. Therefore bridge mode is required but jio does not allow, so it's useless to do whatever you said.
We tried to get bsnl for 5 homes in my village and the cost was 9k per home..so 45k total..the cost of wire was 25k for 1.5km total distance..
So it was too much for a village user..
I hv used airtel fiber in the city..got everything free for a three month advanced pay plan of 100 mbps at 2800 rs..big difference

BSNL is worst and costly my experience
In my village right now BSNL provided free Bharat Fiber installation with free single band router. No condition. No 3 or 6 months recharge. Just simple free installation. Just awesome. Previously taken local fiber (SITI Broadband) 3 years back with a huge 11k installation charge. BSNL is just best.
Local fiber is best. .... So cheap prices .... No installation charges ...... No router fees ...

I have gtpl ,5500 yearly plan of 40mbps and unlimited.no cap on usage of internet.
My BSNL fiber connection cost was ₹4500 in my village (Guwahati, Assam) with dual band router and was installed within 1 week from the date of booking. Till now the services is good. There was no additional cost for extra wire, they used around 300m wire but didnt charge me any extra cost. The vendor was friendly as well. Getting 70bps on my 60mbps plan.

Bhai jo bataya dil se bataya. Meine bhi local mein society ke dostono ke ghar jake literally pucha tha like atleast 10 ghar gaya tha main personally and mere ache behaviour ki wajah se sabne exp share kiya ache se. Abhi last month dost ke ghar meine apne exp se Local operator ka fiber lagwaya + OTT , got it in 399 with GST. I'm really happy to actually hear same operator dependence theory from you as well 😁😁
i use total 2 connections 1at home ,which is bsnl fiber paid around 5000rs & we are using this for 3 years 100% satisfied with service . and we know they vendor personally so no issues at all , they gave me a 2.4ghz router named "REVO" i don't know how it is able to provide 50-60 mbps speed on 2.4 ghz constantly. the router is just awesome
and another one i use where i stay for study purposes . got connection for 2000 ,which includes installation+2.4ghz router + 1 month of recharge . he also told us that he will not take the gst on recharge as i am a student. plans are also damm cheap. 30mbps for 400rs.
so happy with both connection ....
I am using Airtel Xtreme fibre. I opted for installation in January,2022 with the plan of 799/month and it costed me a total 2829 which included recharge for 3 months and at no extra installation charges. But as of now I recharge it for 589 rupees which gives 40 MBPS for a month. To add one more thing I have literally never faced any issue with it.

I am using Jio Fiber since March 2021. Sirf 1-2 baar drop dekhne ko mila lekin Jio ne pehle hi SMS k through bata diya tha.
Using 30Mbps plan (getting speed between around 28Mbps)
But I want Jio to introduce a new plan of 50-60Mbps. Because 30Mbps kam hai aur 100Mbps jyada hai in terms of price and speed too.
Humare yaha Airtel around 200-250m door hai. Aur BSNL to 7-8K mang rhe abhi.
I am Satisfied with Jio.
Bus Jio me ek middle wala plan aa jaye to maza aa jayga.
Jio introduced new plans on 1st Sep 2020. Hopefully they introduce a new plan on 1st Sep 2022

After 2nd wave of corona, jab maine aur mere family ne finally fiber lagwane ka socha tab dukaandaar se leke neighbour sabko puch ta phir raha tha ki " Bhai yaha Ghar main fiber hain?" , And problem yeah tha ki yaha baas shop or offices main hi fiber use hote hain. So bhout ground research karne ke baad We choose BSNL FTTH (kuch local vendors bhi the but as you mentioned call karne pe kisi aur ka number chipka dete the😂) . Hamlogo ne installation, router and telephone sab milake around 4000 pay kiye. Because with unlimited data hame free calls bhi mill Raha tha in 518 rupees/month @30mbps . Aur yaha ka vendor bhi thik thak hai, zyada accha toh nhi bolunga but zarurat pe respond karta hai. Mujhe baas speed ka hi dikaat hai(agar 40mbps hota toh accha hota), warna baki sab Sahi hai yaha.

Jio fibre connection ko jb aap uninstall kara ta ha to o aata hi ni ha 1month sa v Jayda ho gaya pr abhi v aaya ni ha or service v Jayda shii ni ha. Or internet down jata ha bhut time.

I am Using BSNL and I have to say I have Never been so irritated in my life. 😑
The Vendor in my area is always busy with his Girlfriend. It costed me total 3000 Rs For The installation. Every Week for almost 2 days The wifi remains Unusable. The speed is so messed Up too.. sometimes it works very Good sometimes The speed is so low that you cant even watch CZcams videos at 240P resolution.
For Gaming Bsnl is the worst Fibre that you can have. The Ping Fluctuations are so Much dude.
