Conwy Castle Tour, North Wales

Here we are in North Wales and exploring one of the more beautiful Castles around, and certainly one of the most externally complete. Built by Edward 1 and completed around 1289, it was one of a series designed to maintain the English dominance of Wales. It has had an eventful history, as one would expect, and originally was built to completely encircle the town of Conwy. Well worth looking up the history, but for now I hope that you will be satisfied by this flying tour. thanx for watching, JimC.
