Secularism means to treat religion as part of human culture and keep it separated from modern law and politics because modern law and politics should be applicable universally and should be independent of personal religious belief. Hindus have to work hard by following Updanisads with are quite secular. Christians are quite liberal and cool, thanks to logic and spiritualism of new testament which is quite secular. Muslims should focus on following their secular teachings (if any). Muslims have to work extra hard to keep modern law and politics water-tight separate from their religious beliefs.

When I was young, we had only doordarshan where a 30 mins news was telecasted two times a day. That was the way of news to be telecasted. No debate, no argument programne in the name of news. News means you have state some facts whatever is going on. It is not like news reporter can become judge and give their own decisions what they think about any topic. Now a days whenever open a news channel whatever it may be whether regional news channal or central, only you can hear people are shouting at each other in the name of debate. In my school days I have participated in many debate contest, and this is not the way a debate should be done what these news channels telecast now-a-days. And then there comes more such people those who make trouble for common people of all communitities in the name of protest. Those who are intellectual people, have sense they dont do such things whatever community they belong from. And this social media is on another level.
