      @Mike - _ - Litoris japan killed more people than nazi germany is brutal ways. Today most are extremely xenophobic. Im not hating japan , its their own country they can do what they want but no country is perfect and to think everywhere else is better than the US is ignorant

    Information in the video clip is brief but useful, the informality of the delivery is proper, in this case. However, the background street traffic negates the spirit of the ceremony completely. Couldn't they find a more appropriate place? Many japanese houses have a small area set aside within the house (if the true Sukiya tea room is not practical or affordable), and that would be a much better setting. Explaining a tea ceremony with the police sirens blazing behind the window, cars and pedestrians speeding by, is not very dignified. Good old Toyotomi Hideyoshi would have some heads rolling.

    • @fatbitch5725
      @fatbitch5725 Před 2 lety +6

      TBH, I find it hard to believe that they even got the okay to do something like this at all. Everything here has to be BIG or Exciting! I'm glad they were able to, but this is probably the best they could do.

    • @hanshananigan1233
      @hanshananigan1233 Před rokem

      Ideally, yes. But tea ceremony was often performed in a tent on a battlefield for warlords - not the quietest or most dignified settings.
      Similarly Zen meditation is exemplified in a temple or solitary, natural setting. It makes it easier to practice, but being able to do so in a natural setting (eg, street, park, workplace) is exactly where you will want to do it and benefit from the practice.
