When using the scissors, you should push sideways to the left with the thumb as you cut. That pretty much fixes the cutting issues.
You don’t need to with Victorinox.

The Vic Workchamp is about the same size as the L51-B, but it's over an oz. lighter, and it has a file, a larger locking prybar, two sizes of Phillips drivers, a small screwdriver for the corkscrew, and a toothpick. The Ruike has a little bit wider blade with a thumb stud, a rescue cutter, an in-line and larger awl, larger tweezers, and a pocket clip. I give the Workchamp the edge because of the file.

I think the L61 comes with a file as the additional layer.

Yeah, Ruike knives are a bit on the heavier side. I would just see this as a solid knife with some bells and whistles and wouldn't bother with bigger models. OR... If you put it in a backpack, then who cares. Vic has a huge lead on them when it comes to weight. But I have to admit, they look really cool.

Swisschamp has an inline Phillips opposite of the magnifying glass. This Ruike looks ok, but something that wide I don't like pocket carry, belt pouch for me, had my Swisschamp 8 years now and it's never let me down. This Ruike could be a good idea for a person who might need something in their car but not my flavor, good review as always.

I recently rec'd a Boker multi-tool (Tech Tool?) as a gift, and the sender and I were guestimating that the tool you describe as a "rope cutter" might also possibly be a strap cutter, as in seat belt strap, due to it's fixed angle when opened. Rope cutter makes sense also. 👍
On a side note, the fit & finish of the scales on the Boker are done well.

I have the Böker tech tool 8 and the Ruike rescue knife. The steel is the same, the workmanship close enough to be called identical, my boker was engraved by laser and shipped from Germany...
The finish on the handles is quite different, the Ruike is rough feeling, not perfectly CNC, done cheaply with cross grain, the Böker is a fluid shape that runs the body and is excellently finished and all round feels stronger.
The tool selection and tool fittings in both feel excellent and operate butter smooth.

Tools runing on fosfer bronze washers. Torx screws not rivets.Being sold under an Aliexpress store name. Just searche for wa721. They have a more layers model and other 2 small models available. Vic eyeglass screwdriver does not fit in the corkscrew without some filling in the screwdriver plastic.

I use Victorinox Ranger Wood 55, Ruike rescue knife and Böker tech tool 8 saws in my gardening, cutting at tropical plants, nasty lime tree, seriously fibrous palm fronds, cutting through plastic piping and all 3 knives are a joy. I prefer the grip on the larger and more curved Victorinox ranger wood 55 when sawing as it is less slippery and very sturdy. The saw on the Victorinox is 5% better than the other two. If you wished the blade on your medium SAK was a little beefier and you value just about indestructible liners this range of tools is worth a look. If you do activities where weight counts, you're putting in the miles on foot, it's too heavy for how useful it is, find an equivalent SAK, my No#4 is heavier than my Rangergrip 78? (Can never remember that things number!).

Also on the belt/rope cutter , the end is a small flat driver i think and it has nice leverage. but pity, the blade is not locking. the big Vics as outrider and Ranger i think they have locking blades.
