Uncle Lee, your video bring back old memories 👍, 10 years plus ago I followed a driving tour (road trip) there, we had close to 20 cars. We stayed at Mutiara Taman Negara and parked our car across the river. It was less crowded then. No queue at the canopy walk. From your video, nothing much has changed, only that they installed proper walkaway (boardwalk) and a lot more people now. Rapid shooting is still the best. Maybe I should go again and follow your route.
Maybe go again.. fyi, the existing canopy walk will be closing end of this year. Will be replaced by a much longer canopy walk that is still being built. I must say I truly enjoyed this Taman Negara trip.
And the dinner at Wong Kee is so so so awesome!

Taman negara was one of my favorite and most memorable trips 20yrs ago.. past midnight we went to the deep forest climbed up the top of the tree where there's a hut for us to stay inside quietly looking for wild animals.. very interesting and scary!
We also went to watch wild animals at night…. But nothing came out from the jungle for us to see and the video shot of that came out all black and nothing to see!

Uncle Lee, where did Michael park his car in Jerantut? 2 days parking isn't it dangerous?
He parked it on the roadside just beside NKS hotel & travel. Seems safe and no issue.

You can actually drive to Tthe kampung opposite the river and "Taman Negara "is a boat ride about RM1 , opposite the river by you park the car at the kampung,very simple'
But going by tour ,the value of package is grossly jacked up(3 hours by boat)
Yes yes.. we know that. But being a city boy, I wanted a speedboat ride up the river… don’t get to do this in KL.
Unfortunately the ride was only 2 hours. 3 hours would have been better 🤣
Nizam the tour guide really added value to the tour.....thank you for the hour long video; very informative esp the anti-coagulant leave and the poison dart making. Malaysia has so much to offer,
Oh yes, Nizam did a great job and I would highly recommend him. Hmm, still thinking about the 4D/3N fishing for giant monsters deep in the jungle……

Oh yes! Taman Negara is absolutely amazing! Wish the boat ride was 3 hours… it was only 2 hours since weather and river condition was good on that day.

@@UncleLeeAdventures Suggestion try Taman Negara Kenyir next, Houseboat 3d2n.. food on board, fishing, hike to see Pokok Melunak, visit Gua Bewah, etc it's even more beautiful :)

I don't think this trip will be for your ladies.... it would be a cake walk for Ah Fatt though. I noticed Michael found the going tough at times
When the ladies saw the video, they were glad that they did not join! But Ah Leng went more than 30 years ago so she had some rough idea what it was going to be like.
Michael and me don’t do a lot of exercise so we found it a bit exhausting… but happy we still did it while we still can. 😁
